Learn more about our brilliant Co-Creator below:Mina Zaghari is an actor, writer, and physical theatre artist based in Toronto, originally from Iran. With a background in civil engineering, she pursued her passion for the performing arts and earned a graduate degree in Theatre Performance from Humber College. Her work spans acting, movement, devising, puppeteering, choreography, and writing, with collaborations at Cahoots Theatre, Paprika Festival, Tarragon Theatre, and Tirgan Theatre. She also teaches acting through workshops and coaching. Beyond performing and teaching, Mina shares insights on acting and creativity through her YouTube channel. As a professional handpan player, she incorporates rhythm angd movement into her artistic practice.We can’t wait for you to experience Mina’s artistry in Sanguine! Aryana Malekzadeh (@aryana_malek) is a Toronto-based contemporary dance artist whose work centers on themes of identity, cultural inheritance, and the complexities of living between cultures. As a child of Iranian immigrants, her choreography explores how the body carries memory—what is inherited, what is silenced, and what resurfaces.With collaborators Mina Zaghari @minazaghari and Nona Houshiarkhah @nonaflips , Aryana continues to shape and refine the material that emerged from her #EntryWaves research.
