My world, Smoke. (My first development piece yayyyy.)A visualisation of my early krump characters S’Rage/Smoke’em and their world. This character carried me throughout most of my krump journey. I’m grateful for the space it held, and will continue to hold.I’m beyond grateful to have collaborated with my long-time friend @lilantagonize . Thank you for shaping and exploring this world with Artemiz. Lana is a Naarm-based street dancer, artist and event organizer who has been cultivating her craft in the styles of W_acking and Popping over the past 5 years. Lana is a member of the W_acking community BurnCity W_ack and the choreography crew Gambit. In 2024 and 2025, she successfully organized Dime After Dime Vol.1 and Vol.2 - a celebration of Popping culture featuring jams, workshops, and dance battles.Driven by passion and curiosity, she has eagerly explored the roots, history, and culture of various street dance styles such as Hip-Hop, Locking, House etc., learning from local legends, pioneers, and originators. Lana has traveled across Australia, Asia, and Europe to deepen her understanding of exchange and battle culture while building meaningful connections. We’re back with a Girly Pop Edition of B‑Side Battles. A low‑pressure, fun‑first night built around pop bangers. We will believe playing tunes like Beyonce, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and plenty of other classics and deep cuts; it’s really just an excuse to hang out, dance and enjoy pop music.Open to all dancers: There are no prelims – we’re going straight into the bracket and capping entries at 32 competitors, so grab a spot early if you want to battle. The winner takes home the prize money, and 50% of all ticket income (competitors + pay‑as‑you‑feel spectators) will be donated to a charity chosen by the judge. Spectators are pay as you feel, so come through however you can.We’ll have pizza during the event, and the vibe is simple: good music, good people, and a lot of dancing.🔗 Registration link in our bio. by @mind.over.mutant
