Buccal massage on the lovely @coral_pearl_ ✨

This treatment consists of 40 minutes sculpting on the face, followed by 20 minutes buccal massage.

The combination of both:

🔸 Strengthens & tones the facial muscles & bones
🔸 Encourages blood circulation & lymphatic drainage
🔸 Stimulates collagen production
🔸 Relaxes the masseter muscles (great for jaw clenchers & teeth grinders!)
🔸 Gives you a sculpted look 👌🏼

All in all a great anti-aging treatment ✨

This treatment truly is wonderful- I love to see how much a client’s face changes from when they come in to when they leave- you can feel & see the difference straight away 😍

Shining a spotlight on one of my Ayurvedic treatments: Abhyanga massage 🕉️🤎

I don’t talk about my Ayurvedic treatments all that much on here, but I absolutely love offering them. They’re really special to me, and I feel they deserve a little more airtime!

My journey into Ayurveda began back in 2017. After spending a year living and travelling around India, I decided I wanted to return to learn more about India’s Ancient healthcare system.

During my studies, I learnt about the principles of Ayurveda alongside a range of traditional therapies, including Indian head massage, Kalari hand massage (performed on a mat on the floor), Kizhi (herbal compress therapy), Shirodhara (where a gentle stream of oil is poured over the forehead), and, of course, Abhyanga (& a few more!)

So, what is Abhyanga? 🪔
Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic oil massage.
Before the treatment, we work out what your dosha type is (your individual mind-body constitution).
I then blend an oil specifically for you and your dosha type.

The oil is at the heart of the treatment, with rhythmic, flowy movements to get all that lovely oil onto and into your skin 🌀
I find there’s something about the rhythm of the movements that really helps you slow down, switch off and relax 🧘🏽‍♀️

It’s also the perfect treatment for going into a new season- we are constantly adapting to our environment outside, as well as our inner environment, and if you know about Doshas and Ayurveda, then you know it’s a constant balancing act and ensuring we are well balanced for a happy body and mind.

I’ve experienced my fair share in India, and it definitely differs from person to person, but I just love the personalised element to it which you don’t get everywhere 🤍
