Brussels Connect 2 is coming! 🌟

We are excited to bring you the second edition of Brussels Connect, our networking event series bringing people together. 🤝

This time, we are together with our “Psychology Literacy for Educators”(@psychologyliteracy) #ErasmusPlus project’s partners in #Brussels for an evening of networking, collaboration, and fresh perspectives!

We are happy to announce that we will be joined at this special event by renowned Professor @sinancanan. 🧠

🌍 What is IDEAS about?

IDEAS combines:
• social economy principles
• design thinking methods
• youth participation

The project develops and tests practical activities where young people work on real challenges in their communities.

The result is a set of tools and approaches that youth workers can use to support inclusive, action-based youth work across Europe.

As we approach the end of our #ErasmusPlus project “Psychology Literacy for Educators”(@psychologyliteracy), we are happy to invite you to the National Conference in #Belgium!

In collaboration with @lale.ulb, we will hold this conference in #Brussels at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).🤝

The event will provide a platform to present the project’s results and experiences. It will enable knowledge exchange with the project partners from Türkiye, Italy, Bulgaria and Belgium.

Alongside the panelists, renowned Professor @sinancanan will be the keynote speaker.

💭 Why does IDEAS matter?

Many young people have ideas, but often lack the support, tools, or space to turn them into action.
At the same time, communities face real challenges that need fresh perspectives and local solutions.

IDEAS connects these two realities by helping young people:
• express their ideas
• work together on real challenges
• develop solutions that create positive change

The project focuses especially on those with fewer opportunities, ensuring that everyone has a chance to contribute and be heard.

🎯 What is the goal of IDEAS?

The project aims to support young people to:
• understand community challenges
• develop their own ideas for social change
• work in teams and test solutions in practice

At the same time, youth workers are equipped with methods based on design thinking, helping them guide young people step by step – from identifying a problem to creating a solution.

The focus is on real-life impact, not just theory.

#IDEAS project partners came together for the first time in person for the LTTA (Learning, Teaching, Training Activity) in Portugal 🇵🇹

Alongside the training, we made time to connect beyond the screen: team-building activities, shared meals, and honest conversations that took our collaboration to a whole new level. After months of working online, finally meeting face-to-face reminded us why this partnership matters 🤝

Thank you to @vibemadeira for hosting us on the beautiful island of Madeira🌊

This project brings together partners across Europe to support young people in turning their ideas into real actions. It focuses on inclusion, participation, and empowering youth to actively shape their communities. Through practical activities and guided processes, participants explore how to identify community needs and develop solutions that create positive social impact.

We were happy to participate in the EVBB EU Policy Camp 2026 held in Thessaloniki, Greece. 🇪🇺 🇬🇷

During the one week policy camp, the discussions were centered around the subject “Beyond the Bubble: VET, AI & the Future of EU Funding”.

Co-funded by the European Union and organised by the @evbb_eu, with @akmi.international and @cedefop as local hosts, the policy camp brought together professionals from around the globe to exchange ideas on the future of vocational education and training, artificial intelligence, and EU funding.

Throughout the event, @mindhub_edu had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, strengthen existing partnerships, establish new connections, and exchange good practices with stakeholders. 🤝 taken in Thessalonikki, Greece by @mindhub_edu

#Bruxircle olarak, önceki AB Daimi Temsilcimiz ve şimdiki Lüksemburg Büyükelçimiz (@tc_luksemburgbe) Sayın Faruk Kaymakcı’nın nazik daveti üzerine Lüksemburg’da Dünya Türk Kahvaltısı Günü vesilesiyle düzenlenen etkinliğe katılmaktan büyük memnuniyet duyduk. 🇱🇺🇪🇺

Etkinlik boyunca, başta @actl_luxembourg olmak üzere mevcut bağlantılarımızı güçlendirmenin yanı sıra, farklı sektörlerden profesyonellerle tanışarak ağımızı genişletme fırsatı bulduk.

Avrupa’nın farklı şehirlerinde yaşayan Türk toplulukları ve genç profesyoneller arasında köprüler kurmaya, yeni bağlantılar oluşturmaya ve ortak çalışma alanları yaratmaya devam ediyoruz. 🤝
