✨ A little reminder that self-care really can make a difference ✨

This week I’ve noticed a little more motivation to look after me — making time to slow down, practise some self-hypnosis, relax, and simply enjoy the little moments.

And I’m genuinely feeling the benefits. 💛

This week I managed to get back to my yoga class first time in months, and today I found myself sitting in my warm, sunny extension in my rocking chair feeling calm and grateful, and just enjoying being present. After some self-hypnosis, I felt so deeply relaxed that I became a little sleepy. 😌☀️

It’s easy to think self-care has to mean big changes, but sometimes it’s the small things we consistently give ourselves that make the biggest difference.

Hypnotherapy can be a lovely way of helping you create that space — to quieten the noise, reconnect with yourself and support positive changes from within.

This week has reminded me how good it feels to slow down, look after myself and actually notice the benefits. ❤️

What little thing have you done for yourself this week? 🌿

“Why am I SO exhausted when I’m actually sleeping?” 😴
This was me for so long during perimenopause.
I could sleep for hours and still wake up feeling like I hadn’t rested at all. Exhausted, overwhelmed and struggling to function.
Then I started slowing down, calming myself, managing my stress and being kinder to myself… and my sleep improved. 🤍
Now my sleep has changed again — because, well… perimenopause! 🙈
And it’s reminded me just how important sleep is.
Poor sleep can affect your stress, mood, cravings, energy, focus and ability to cope.
This is one area where hypnotherapy can help — supporting relaxation, calming an overactive mind and helping you change the patterns that can keep you stuck in poor sleep.
If your sleep has changed during perimenopause or menopause, you’re not alone. 🌙

The thoughts we repeat become the reality we live. If your mind has been creating stress, anxiety, overwhelm or self-doubt… hypnotherapy can help you change the pattern. Real change starts in the subconscious. Mindovermatterht.com by @mindovermatterht

Hypnotherapy can help uncover the unconscious patterns keeping us stuck in the past, overwhelmed in the present, or anxious about the future. Change happens when the mind learns that it no longer has to stay in survival mode. Mindovermatterht.com by @mindovermatterht

For anyone suffering with depression:

DEPRESSION TIPS 🤍🤍

Shower. Not a bath, a shower. Use water as hot or cold as you like. You don’t even need to wash. Just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. Sit on the floor if you gotta.

Moisturize everything. Use whatever lotion you like. Unscented? Pound shop lotion? Fancy 48 hour lotion that makes you smell like a field of wildflowers? Use whatever you want, and use it all over your entire dermis.

Put on clean, comfortable clothes. Drink cold water. Use ice.
Go outside. Take a walk. Sit in the grass. Look at the clouds. Smell flowers. Put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.

Call someone. Call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. Talk to a stranger on the street. Have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. If you can’t bring yourself to call, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. Even if you don’t say much, listen to them. It helps.
Clean something. Doesn’t have to be anything big. Organize one drawer of a desk. Wash five dirty dishes. Do a load of laundry. Scrub the bathroom sink.

Blast music. Listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. Sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.
At your absolute best you won’t be good enough for the wrong people. But at your worst, you’ll still be worth it to the right ones. Remember that. Keep holding on.
In case nobody has told you today you are worth your weight and then some in gold, so be kind to yourself and most of all don’t give up. by @mindovermatterht
