What is NeuroMindy?

NeuroMindy is a conversational AI companion, built for neurodivergent people.
It is calm and clear: you talk to it, and it adapts to how you think, instead of asking you to adapt to it.

It is built with the neurodivergent community, not just for it.

We are working on three modes:

1) Everyday for daily use.
2) Teaching for learning.
3) Coaching for goals.

None are active yet.
We are building them right now.

One thing that will not change: NeuroMindy does not diagnose,
and does not replace professionals.

 It is support, not therapy.

Swipe to learn more.

Your mind works differently.
Your technology should too.

What is MindyPlay?

MindyPlay is where MindyCore makes mobile games,
built for how your mind plays.

Games to learn with, and games just for fun. Different styles, for different tastes.
Because being neurodivergent does not mean everyone likes the same things.

Accessibility for neurodivergent minds is built into every game:
readable fonts, gentle sound, simple controls, and clear instructions. You play at your own pace.

Our first games are on the way, for iPhone and Android.
There will be one for you.

Swipe to learn more.

Your mind works differently.
Your technology should too.

Mindy updates.

No big launch this week. We are deep in the build, and that is on purpose.

Right now we are working on the full flow of NeuroMindy. Everything that happens before you even start talking to Mindy:

Creating your account and logging in.
Forgetting, resetting and updating your password without stress.
A calm onboarding that explains things step by step.
Letting Mindy remember the profiles you choose to add, so you do not repeat yourself every time.

How the memory works, clearly:

If you create an account, Mindy remembers the profiles you choose, across sessions.
If you do not register, everything stays local on your device, and you set it up again each time you come back.

You decide. Nothing is remembered unless you choose it.

Basically, the whole path from opening the app to your first chat. And we are connecting all of it to the database so it holds together.

It is slow work. We want it to feel clear and safe from the very first screen, not just once you reach the chat.

If you want to be one of the first to try it, the tester list is open. Link in bio.

Your mind works differently. Your technology should too.

When NeuroMindy is not sure, it asks. It does not guess.

Many tools fill in the gaps by guessing what you mean, or who you are. We made a different choice.

Here is why. When a tool assumes things about you, it often gets them wrong. And for neurodivergent people, being misread is something that happens far too often already.

So NeuroMindy asks. If something is unclear, it asks you, instead of deciding for you. You stay the one who knows yourself best.

And nothing is inferred in the background. It does not quietly build a profile of you from guesses. It works only with what you choose to tell it.

Asking takes a little longer than guessing. But it means you are understood on your terms, not on an assumption.

When in doubt, we ask. That is the whole point.

Save this, or share it with someone who values being asked, not assumed.

Your mind works differently. Your technology should too.

Why you can't start, even when you want to.

It has a name: executive dysfunction. And one of its most common forms is task paralysis: feeling frozen, unable to begin, even when you really want to.

It is not laziness, and you are not failing. The intention is there. What is hard is the bridge between wanting to do something and actually starting it.

Why it happens: executive function is the brain's system for planning, starting, and organising tasks. In ADHD and autism, it works differently, so turning intention into action takes real effort.

What it feels like: staring at a task you want to do, and just not being able to move. Overwhelm. Freezing. And often guilt on top, which only makes it harder.

What helps: breaking tasks into tiny steps, starting with the smallest possible action, removing distractions. And being kind to yourself, because shame only deepens the freeze.

Frozen is not lazy. It is real.

Save this, or send it to someone who needs to read it today.

Shared by many, lived differently by each. For understanding, not diagnosis.

Mindy Updates: we finally have dates for the NeuroMindy testing. Here is the plan.

These are approximate dates, and they may shift a little, but we wanted to share them with you.

First round: mid November, in English, with our English-speaking testers. This first round tries the core of NeuroMindy: the chat, the conditions you choose to share, and how it adapts to them.

Between the two rounds, we add the Spanish version, bring in the first tools (starting with memory), and polish the interface.

Second round: late November, in Spanish, with coaches. Here we also test the memory feature with real users.

As we shared before, the English round comes first, and the Spanish one right after. To our Spanish-speaking community: your round is coming, you are not an afterthought.

If you still want to join the testing, the link is in the first comment.

Still being built. Still not rushing it.

Your mind works differently. Your technology should too.

We are building MindyFam, our community, slowly and on purpose.

We add new people little by little, every couple of weeks. We are selective to keep the space safe, not to keep people out. We want people to actually get to know each other, to bond, and to feel secure here.

To everyone on the waiting list: thank you for your patience. We are getting to you. And we have already started our first community events.

We still believe you can build a community in an authentic way. A place where people genuinely support each other, and grow together.

Whether you are a neurotypical ally or neurodivergent, this is your space. A place that is safe and real, like the world itself, where we all learn to live alongside different ways of thinking and feeling.

We are the 100% that sees the 25%.

MindyFam is an 18+ space. If you want to be part of it, fill in the form and we will get back to you within 48 hours to give you access. Link in the first comment.

Here is the form to join MindyFam (18+): https://tally.so/r/81E9rr

What is time blindness?

It is the persistent difficulty sensing how much time has passed, or estimating how long a task will take. It is one of the most commonly reported experiences in ADHD.

What it looks like: underestimating how long things take, losing hours without noticing (especially in hyperfocus), or a deadline feeling far away until it is suddenly here.

And it is not carelessness. People with ADHD do not lose track of time on purpose. Brain differences make it genuinely harder to sense time passing. It is not about "trying harder".

Why it happens: time perception depends on brain areas and dopamine signalling that work differently in ADHD. Researchers even call it "temporal myopia": the further away something is, the harder it is to see it clearly.

What helps: making time visible. Timers you can see, alarms, breaking tasks into steps, external reminders. And a little understanding, because being late is not always about respect. Sometimes it is a brain that senses time differently.

A different sense of time is still real.

Save this, or share it with someone who needs to hear it.

Shared by many, lived differently by each. For understanding, not diagnosis.

Mindy Updates: our testing phase is splitting into two. And we want to be honest about why.

NeuroMindy is being built to work in more than one language. But adding several languages at once, on an infrastructure this complex, is a huge amount of work. Doing it all at the same time would slow everything down.

So we made a practical decision. We are splitting the testing into two phases.

Phase one: in English. This comes first.

Phase two: in Spanish. This comes right after.

To our Spanish-speaking community: your phase is coming. You are not an afterthought. We are doing it this way so we can move forward and get each language right, instead of rushing both and doing neither well.

This lets us keep progressing, and keep the quality we care about.

Still being built. Still not rushing it.

Your mind works differently. Your technology should too.

MindyCore is celebrating its first year.
With a few lessons to share, and a lot of energy to keep going!

1. Real leadership is not what the book says. Being firm without being a tyrant. Getting things done while protecting the team from burnout. I learned to delegate and trust. With a neurodivergent team, one rulebook for everyone is a cage.
2. Listen to the community, with humility. A great idea still has to be tested by the people who will use it. What I miss, they catch. What they miss, we catch.
3. Not everything goes to plan. Deadlines slip, fires happen. But you can stay organised.
4. Protect the culture. Sometimes you let go of people who seemed promising. The mission matters, sometimes more than a shiny CV.
5. We do not wait for permission. We work lean, with what we have. I turned down two good investment offers because they did not fit our mission.
6. And the biggest one: the community did not just support us, they taught us. They led us to our pivot. We listened.

Here's to many more.
Thank you for being part of this.
Love you all.

Sadly, we’ve come to the end of my contract with MindyCore💔.

It’s definitely been a roller coaster.

I joined MindyCore in the middle of a huge pivot, and that came with its own challenges. One of the biggest was watching the account’s reach drop significantly after we removed all of the previous content.

For about 2 months, we were seeing videos sit between 0–80 views😭😂.

Today, I’m leaving with videos consistently reaching around 1,000–1,500 views.

And honestly? I’m proud.

Not just because of the numbers, but because I got to see the account move forward instead of leaving it where I found it.

I’ve definitely learnt some things the hard way through this experience, and I’m taking those lessons with me into every project that comes next.

But beyond the work, I’m genuinely grateful for Ornella.

Thank you for your patience, mentorship, advice, and for being such an amazing client ❤️.

I’m happy I couldn’t leave Mindy at a better point.

It’s still a startup, but I genuinely believe what Ornella is building can make a meaningful difference in the neurodivergent world.

From now on, I’ll be cheering from the sidelines😭.

And who knows… maybe our paths will cross again professionally👀.

Until then, it’s been an honour to work alongside you, Ornella❤️.

Here’s to everything MindyCore becomes next 🚀.
