testing ektar 100 on nikonos v 🌀 I always rate ektar at 200 but shot in auto mode with nikonos v. Most photos during the daylight turned out fine but underwater photos turned out too dark! What are your favorite film stocks for both underwater and by the shore? I’m thinking trying out portra 800 or 400!

Kauai ☀️🌺🌈🌊 We felt right at home arriving in Kauai. The kids were able to experience the island life - from learning about how to crack open tålisai (pacific almonds) and tasting it, climbing a coconut tree and seeing how it’s cut open with a machete, drinking a fresh coconut water and eating coconut meat, getting a taste of fåhå and differentiating the difference of fresh coconut, to picking avocados with a guaile that a local made. The weather and the beaches were so familiar to how we grew up back home. We truly missed the island life. The boys loved being surrounded by nature - they were stoked to catch geckos and crabs, swim and snorkel to see all types of fish. The views were stunning with all the plants flourishing and surrounded by my favorite plants and trees. Leland asked to move to the islands and started calling Cali by referring to “America” 😂 This trip was so memorable getting to experience alongside our family 🫶🏼 by @mindydiaz
