It was just a hospital corridor.

Until we saw what it could become.

We transformed an overlooked hospital corridor into a small café and resting space for the companions of hospitalized patients — a place to pause, have a coffee, and breathe between long hours of waiting.

This interior design project explores how architectural design can transform an ordinary circulation space into a meaningful human experience.

Because sometimes, architecture is not only about the space we create, but about how it makes people feel.

A place to breathe, for the ones who wait.

CLINIC — Architecture of Care

What makes a healthcare space feel supportive?

A clinic is more than a functional setting for treatment. It is an environment experienced through light, sound, privacy, movement, material, and spatial atmosphere.

Research in evidence-based healthcare design suggests that factors such as natural daylight, views of nature, acoustic comfort, privacy, spatial organization, and environmental control can influence patients’ experience and well-being.

This perspective shifts healthcare architecture beyond the organization of rooms and circulation. Architecture can contribute to a sense of comfort, dignity, orientation, and control throughout the patient journey.

For MINÉA Studio, designing a clinic means considering not only how a space functions, but how it is experienced.

Can architecture become part of care?

DESIGNED FOR WELLBEING.

A well-designed clinic is more than a functional space — it is an environment that shapes comfort, perception, and the overall patient experience.

This clinic interior design project explores the relationship between architectural design, spatial organization, material selection, and visual comfort to create a contemporary environment for healthcare and beauty services.

Through a considered approach to interior architecture, the design aims to balance functionality, aesthetics, and a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating how thoughtful spatial design can influence the way people experience a clinical setting.

At MINÉA Studio, we believe that every space should be designed with purpose, where aesthetics and functionality work together to create meaningful experiences.

CAFE — More Than a Place for Coffee

A café is not defined only by what is served, but by how the space shapes the experience of staying.

Research shows that spatial layout, aesthetics, lighting, materials, and other environmental qualities can influence how people perceive a hospitality space, their satisfaction, and their behavioral intentions.

In a café, these elements work together to create atmosphere from the distance between tables and the direction of movement to natural light, materiality, seating, and the relationship between interior and street.

Cafés can also function as spaces for everyday encounters, individual activities, and social connection.

Architecture does not simply frame the coffee experience.
It helps shape the experience around it.

ARCHITECTURE OF PAUSE.

A café is more than a place to enjoy coffee — it is a space that shapes everyday experiences, social interactions, and moments of pause.

This café interior design project explores how architectural design, material selection, spatial organization, and carefully considered seating can transform a commercial setting into an inviting place to gather and connect.

Located on the ground floor of a commercial complex, the project reimagines the café as an integral part of the surrounding environment, creating a distinct spatial experience through contemporary interior architecture.

At MINÉA Studio, we believe that thoughtful design transforms ordinary moments into meaningful experiences.

CAFE — Architecture of Pause

Located within a commercial complex, the café is conceived as an interplay of light, material, texture, and greenery.

Rather than relying on complexity, the design builds its character through a restrained material palette, layered lighting, and carefully framed views.

The space balances openness and intimacy, creating an atmosphere that supports both social interaction and moments of pause.

A simple architectural intervention within an everyday setting ; designed to make the act of gathering, staying, and having a coffee part of the spatial experience.

FOOD STREET — Culinary Urbanism

What happens when food becomes a generator of urban space?

A Food Street is not simply a destination for eating. It is a dynamic public realm where movement, commerce, social interaction, and cultural identity intersect.

Research suggests that street-food activities can activate ordinary streets, reshape patterns of public-space use, and create opportunities for informal social interaction. The street becomes more than a circulation route—it becomes a place to stay, meet, observe, and participate.

The architecture of a Food Street therefore extends beyond permanent structures. Seating, vendors, circulation, lighting, and everyday activities collectively shape its spatial character.

Perhaps this is where culinary urbanism begins:

when food becomes not only something we consume, but also a way through which we experience the city.

DESIGNED TO GATHER.

A food street is more than a place to eat — it is a space where architecture, culture, and social interaction come together.

This Food Street design explores how architectural design and spatial planning can transform a dining destination into a vibrant social experience. Through thoughtful spatial organization, inviting gathering areas, and a contemporary design approach, the project creates an environment where food, people, and place connect.

At MINÉA Studio, we believe that meaningful architecture is not only about how a space looks, but also about how people experience it.

Architecture that brings people together.
