POSTS STORIES REELS

About a week ago I returned from Germany after touring @disneycruiseline’s next ship, the Disney Destiny, at @meyerwerft🛳️ During my few days at the shipyard, I got to see so much and learned a ton about the ship-building process. I came home from that trip so energized and reflective about where my job has taken me over the past year that I couldn’t help but reflect on the sheer amount of blessings the year has brought🎉✨

This week I have the honor of joining my friend @loumongello, on his podcast WDW Radio, along with @scottgustin, to chat all about what we saw and experienced at Meyer Werft and relive the experience over again🙌🏼 You can listen to the episode now wherever you get your podcast. And be sure to follow all three of us, @minglingwithmegan, @loumongello, and @scottgustin for more updates from theme parks, cruising, and beyond💫🏰🛳️

✨ BIG NEWS ✨ Today I’m thrilled to announce that I’m the new Senior Theme Park Editor at @familyvacationist! When I started writing abut theme parks six years ago, I never thought that my job would take me all over the world to places I could only dream about like @tokyodisneyresort_official, Peru and Paris with @adventuresbydisney , and even to @disneyaulani😍
—
What I love most about my job is getting to share my best theme park and travel tip with all of you🙏🏼 I could have never made it here without people actually reading these stories. But I also couldn’t have gotten here without the big support system I have with my family, friends, and incredible FamilyVacationist editors, @joshwhowrites and @postcartography💜
—
It’s been the ride of a lifetime, and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. So to all of you who have read, shared, or helped to contribute to my stories in any way, thank you! You helped me get here. To my family and friends, thank you for loving me and cheering me on. I couldn’t be surrounded by better people.

To those of you still waiting for your dream to come true, I promise you that it’s worth fighting for! The long days and sleepless nights are worth it every single time. They say if you dream a a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true. And mine sure did🎉🏰

When I started writing about sports tourism, specifically football and F1 earlier this year, I didn’t even imagine a paddock pass in my future, let alone a garage tour and seeing my favorite drivers up close. When they say hard work pays off, it’s true💙🏎️🩵

What do you mean that I got a tour of the @williamsf1team garage, met the iconic @susie_wolff during an @f1academy grid walk, made it to the pit lane for the podium celebrations as @kimi.antonelli raised the trophy, and saw my two favorite drivers (@carlossainz55 and @georgerussell63) all in one day😭 talk about a whirlwind of a Grand Prix Sunday🏎️ now let’s do it all again in ✨Las Vegas✨

Reaching speeds of nearly 160 MPH was not on my bingo card for the @f1 United States Grand Prix🤯

Talk about a once in a lifetime experience with @pirelli as @williamsf1team reserve driver @lukebrowningracing raced me around @cota_official in the Williams and Marvel Dr. Doom themed car and overtaking three slower cars in the process😭 truly the crossover of the century for the girl who loves Marvel and F1.

This may have been my perfect sports day! The morning started with a hot lap around @cota_official, then I got some incredible trackside views just feet from the crash barrier, a bird’s eye view of the track from House 44, and ended the night at The Paddock Bar. Of course, there was some incredible racing with free practice 1 & 2 mixed in too🏎️

Hello from Austin⭐️ what a wild first day of the @f1 United States Grand Prix Weekend! From exploring the trackside theme park and getting a glimpse into the team garages (obsessed with the @williamsf1team and @marvel crossover😭) it was truly a day I won’t forget. And there’s still three more days ahead for the weekend!

Keep following for all the fun, high-speed racing, and definitively some driver spotting😍

This week, I’m reminded of how exciting it is to live out big dreams✨

In college I did everything right to work in sports. I did the internships (7 of them to be exact). I got the degree. I networked and proved my worth. But in the end I didn’t get a the job. But my dream wasn’t put on a shelf to collect dust.

Now nearly 10 years later, I’ve found my dream of working in sports coming true right before my eyes. This year, I’ve started writing more and more about sports like football and Formula 1. And this week, I’m heading to the F1 United States Grand Prix in Austin🎉

All of this to say, big dreams may take years to come true, but don’t give up. Maybe your season of waiting is years like mine was, but I promise it’s worth it when that big goal gets checked off the list✨

So what’s next on my list? Well, hopefully seeing my favorite F1 drivers in person later this week😍 by @minglingwithmegan

Is the actual best @disneycruiseline breakfast hidden in the main dining room on every ship, and available every day? I think so🫣😍 in fact, I think the kids peanut butter and jelly typhoon pancakes are better than the iconic Mickey churro waffles💁🏻‍♀️ drop your hot Disney cruise line food takes in the comments!

Sometimes I can’t believe that spending a week on a cruise ship looking for clues, eating ice cream, making memories with my family and friends, all in silly little outfits is my real life adult job😍😭🛳️✨ I’m forever thankful for these opportunities, but even more so after one of the best weeks at work ever💜

After a multi-day scavenger hunt at sea for clues to try to figure out what will be the new restaurants, bars, lounges and more on the new #disneybelieve ship — here are our official predictions. 💫

What are your best guesses?!

#disneybelievereveal #disneycruiseline by @minglingwithmegan

What happened on today’s Disney Believe scavenger hunt? Well we started in the kids club with Rapunzel, before seeing Oaken in Arendelle, playing DCL game quest bingo, and more🎉 but what does it all mean? We have some ideas, ranging from an Inside Out replacement for Worlds of Marvel to a Zootopia-themed lounge🕵🏻‍♀️ but who really knows🤷🏻‍♀️ the fun chaos continues tomorrow out at Castaway Cay!
