This was my first ever vehicle and I had an absolute blast with it, already got a few more to come next after a brief trip to The Old World. Huge shoutout to @hyperman4heresy and @jt_miniature_painting for their guidance on the process, I did their airbrush course to get some confidence and it helped a tonne!

WIP Ogor Tyrant from the new army box. Really enjoying this model, so much detail and texture in the right places with plenty of room to play around. A few final details to work out then onto metallics and basing, before I can write everything down to tackle the next one!

WIP Space Wolves scheme exploration cont.

Slowly working out the NMM on the gold and the steel. Trying to keep all the temperatures around the cooler armour to keep the overall scheme as cold as possible to complement to eventual snowy bases.

Scheme so far:

Armour - PA Paynes Grey, AP Night Sky, AP Wolf Grey, PA, Grey Blue + oil wash with W&N Paynes Grey
Gold NMM - Word Bearers Red, Zameshi Desert, Zameshi + Dorn 1:1, Dorn Yellow
Steel - AP Ironclad Grey, Skavenblight Dinge, Dawnstone, V Steel Grey
Gems - Gal Vorbak Red, Word Bearers Red, Bugmans Glow (then 1:1 with Dorn Yellow dot highlight)

I’m still working out my wolf scheme by playing with a bunch of different base colours to see how they play. Starting to feel good about this, some things to tighten up for sure, but this red as a base for some NMM gold on top of a desaturated blue is definitely doing something. by @miniaturemethod
