I found some washi tape from my stash with writing small enough to use in my miniatures. I'm using it to line the inside of two plain drawers of a table, plus the outer edges of the drawers, to make them look, well, less boring inside 😊

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart I made a miniature book box to hold a miniature Tell-Tale Heart. Inside the book box I have added the first line of the story and also the last line of the story.

Autumn is well and truly here, and the shops are overflowing with pumpkins, squashes, and gourds. Inspired by the season, I’ve painted a collection of miniature pumpkins to capture the variety of colour in real life.

My painting process of miniature furniture is not much different to how you would paint life size pieces of furniture.
This black chair popped up in a reel (with 2 other chairs) a couple of weeks ago. Here is the start to finish of how the chair went from boring pine to black and distressed.
