Finished this Sleek Sketch bust by @miniatureart_academy after an amazing two-day rendering and sketching workshop in the Netherlands with @borjammerminiatures.

Borja is an outstanding painter and teacher, and I genuinely recommend the workshop to anyone wanting to level up their understanding of materials, volumes, and brushwork. 🎨🇳🇱

🎨 This weekend I jumped into something completely new: the @scale_model_challenge in Eindhoven, my first-ever painting competition!

I didn’t bring home any trophies this time, but what I did bring back is way more valuable – the motivation to paint better, keep improving, and fully dive into this crazy, wonderful miniature painting world.

Here’s a shot of my project “Bad Bunny”, designed by @ekkius.
Thanks for sending it so fast – without you, this bunny would still be chilling in the box instead of showing up to a competition 😅
Massive thanks to @rav3n_minis for being the best mentor I could ask for and helping me turn this idea into a first-ever entry I’m genuinely proud of (even if I still have a ton to learn).
And shout-out to @spony_delavida and @shadesofbreeze for all the support, advice, and kind words that kept me going through the “Time to sink all this into glanzer” moments 🙏

All of this made the experience unforgettable, and now I’m hooked. Luckily, there are already more projects waiting on my desk… so you’ll definitely see me at future competitions.

Finished Strakk from @squidmarminiatures , this time for my own personal collection.

Really enjoyed this one. The sculpt gave me a lot of room to play with colour, especially the contrast between the cold purple skin, intense red wings and the green ruins. I wanted the whole piece to feel alien and saturated while keeping the dragon as the clear focus.

Definitely one I’m happy to keep in the cabinet.
