🌀💫✴️hello!✴️💫🌀

another year has come and gone and it's time to reintroduce myself - my name is maxwell and it's an absolute pleasure to be able to tattoo so many wonderfully weird folks. I've been tattooing since late 2020, and have been working out of @nowaycollective since it's start in august 2021

I am so lucky that my clients are so cool! I tattoo many other queer and trans folks, which fills my tranny fag heart with so much love and joy 💘💘 I appreciate that people can connect with my freaky art style, sketchbook scans, and abstract doodles

getting tattooed is such a beautiful way to reclaim ones body - a path back to autonomy that I cherish, and I'm so glad to be able to give that gift to others in my community 🌷💐🪻

for this next year I'll be dividing my attention between this lovely practice and being a full time student! I've just started at algonquin college for the two year library and information technician program 📚📚

thanks for checking out my intro, and I hope to tattoo you soon 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ by @minkpoor

FROGS! tat on my dear pal raf 🐸🐸

originally just the title of a flash sheet, but raf's beautiful brain wanted it for himself as a tattoo :) placed above a 6 year healed barb wire band

swipe to see the original design, placement, different angles, a bloody shot (slide 6), and 2 silly pics from the appointment

**only not in masks as we are pals who were already hanging out unmasked by @minkpoor

so incredibly excited about this custom for Zo! they needed some intimate gay knight tomfoolery tattooed and I'm so glad they trusted me with the idea! it was a fun challenge to try and emulate the ornament style, and day of we decided to take a 180° on the style of the frame. I love the contrast between the two styles so much

what an absolute delight this tattoo + appointment with amine was!! I'd tattooed him earlier in the month and he pointed out the painting I have on the studio walls and was interested in getting the face tattooed - it was a super fun challenge to make a colourful painting into a black tattoo, I put a lot of attention into varying line widths and that's definitely my favourite part
