Everything is growing wonderfully this year, even things I did nothing for, like the wild roses in the cedars, the columbine, and whatever that yellow lily is! But the poppies, sunflowers, and pansies are from harvested seeds & I'm very proud of those! by @minkrose

Intended & unintended users of the backyard bird feeders 😂 I actually don't mind the squirrel so much because we almost never see them, & we should clearly get a better water source than our rain-filled snow shovel! But the roe deer .... are only allowed apples from the tree out back so we'll have to raise up that feeder. by @minkrose

We don't go out to eat as often so I'm out of practice with my empty plates pics. But! Husband & daughter got their permanent residency applications approved this week, & my reunification visa is approved (for various reasons I cannot apply for permanent residency right now). So we had a celebratory dinner at Alex Sushi. by @minkrose

More sky phenomena! This is not a sun dog, it is a tangent arc! This is another way that sunlight can refract through ice crystals; I had no idea there was more than one way! Yesterday we had a very intense hoar frost (swipe for those) and while driving in the afternoon, I saw the weird sun reflection and had to find a safe spot to pull over. Gorgeous! by @minkrose

Skies! 1&2) I love that my phone camera doesn't over-expose the aurora because my pics look more like what it actually looks like! 3) ivy at the subway stop 4) morning frost by the Akers river 5) more gorgeous ivy - I must propagate some for us next year 🤩 6) I keep taking pics of this one path, at different times of day & year. I loved this chandelier when we stayed at this hotel in 2015 & I still love it! I love taking the stairs down from my 5th floor room just to enjoy it every day. taken in Grand Central Hotel Glasgow by @minkrose

Freshly born baby goats at Barnasgård in Hafjell! you can hear in the video a staffer says they were born the previous hour. She waited until both babies had stood & then brought them into the barn to finish recovering. by @minkrose
