This was the first wig I ever bought after I decided to start my drag career. Gagas meat dress held more of a statement than people had realized in the moment. She had said in a 60 minutes interview:
" I had been there with 4 soldiers that been discharged under the pretense of 'dont ask, don't tell'. What I was really trying to say was dead meat is dead meat. And anyone who willing to take their life and die for their country is the same. You're not gay and dead, straight and dead. You are dead. "
With the rise of conservative ideology, homophobia, and transphobia in our current day, I wanted to use this as an opportunity to remind everyone that we are all the same at the end of the day.
So keep fighting for your rights and those of your neighbors ❤️
