Another #silverlakesanddunes trip in the books. Hard to believe it's been 16 years coming out to visit our Michigan friends and the dunes. Lot's has changed over the years, but our core group is still going strong and having fun! All started from a Ranger Forum meet up😄 As usual, never take enough pics/vids, just living in the moment. Did break one axle, but got it up in running pretty quick. Got them axle changes pretty well dialed now😅 Looking forward to hopefully bring a new rig to dial in next year🤞

We're looking forward to Iola! This year, we're taking this forgotten Ford Galaxie and reviving it on the spot, in front of a live crowd! My friend Andy and I will throw everything we can at it for all 3 days. At the end of the show, it will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Cruise of Honor development for veterans.

And a big surprise to kick it off.. it may not show up looking like this! This show is jam packed - thousands of cars, thousands of swap spaces, food, entertainment, and more.

Realized I didn't have anything posted about the work I completed on the 777 car last year. We didn't quite get it "finish" with the tight schedule we had on Roadworthy Rescues. We may have bit off more than we could chew...nope never. I picked up where we left off with a completely open shell/chassis that needed to be filled in and firewalled off etc. Burned a few brain cells trying to figure out where to even start with no real plan or anything to go off of. Lot's of cardboard aided design and wingn it got it pretty well sorted. Learned a lot in the process and glad I just jumped head first into it. Looking forward to getting down to VGG headquarters soon and help get it running/driving and out being and absolute menace!

I'll throw up another post with more of the progress up to where it sits today.

Always cool to be able to use the cool shop tools/skills on the day job. Kitchen needed a cleanable solution to cover an old column base, and some beauty plates behind some lights that were too small to cover where the old ones were.
