POSTS STORIES REELS

This week, for our Best of Art World series, we’re honoured to share Minnie’s story one that crosses borders, generations, and the many ways art helps us connect. As the founder and curator of the Minnie Park Art Project, she has built a space that bridges East and West, bringing together artists whose voices might have otherwise gone unheard. In her world, art isn’t confined to walls, it’s a conversation that travels, transforms, and brings people closer.

This is Minnie Park and she wants to create a community in the art world

The gallery didn’t go quiet. It evolved.

Min Park Art Project has grown beyond the exhibition calendar — we’re now representing artists directly, securing grants, placing work in libraries, and pursuing public art and museum placements.

No shows on the calendar right now, but so much is happening behind the scenes. The deeper work: getting artists funded, seen, and positioned for the long game.

This is what artist advocacy actually looks like.

@bedroom__culture paints the women who shape culture from the shadows — groupies, saints, dominants, outsiders. Her work pulls from desire, subculture, and power, revealing how we look, perform, and mythologize ourselves.

Quiet, precise, and uncompromising, her paintings sit at the edge of tenderness and authority. by @minparkartproject

Introducing Kan Seidel — born 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska, now based in New York City.

Originally working as a writer when he moved to NYC in 2014, Seidel transformed his practice following the death of his brother — and the shift led to a new body of work that explores family, grief, queerness, and psychological narrative.

His paintings and sculptures blend warped figuration and dark humour: sensuality meets decay, childhood meets indulgence, the Midwestern roots meet city excess. by @minparkartproject
