Peace Lily + Green Tea

Green tea is sometimes used as a DIY plant-care treatment, but it’s important to keep expectations realistic. It contains small amounts of minerals and organic compounds, but it isn’t a complete fertilizer.

If you want to try it, use plain, cooled, unsweetened green tea and apply it sparingly. Avoid adding milk, sugar, honey, or other additives.

And remember: your Peace Lily’s real essentials are consistent moisture, good drainage, bright indirect light, and proper nutrition. 🪴

Would you try this on your Peace Lily? 👀

Snake Plant + Balanced NPK Fertilizer

Snake Plants don’t need heavy feeding, but a properly balanced NPK fertilizer can provide the essential nutrients they need for healthy foliage and steady growth.

The key is using the right amount. Too much fertilizer can build up salts in the soil and damage the roots, so always follow the product’s dilution or application instructions and avoid overfeeding.

For a healthy Snake Plant, remember: good light + well-draining soil + careful watering + occasional feeding. 🌱

Snake Plant + Green Tea 🍵

Green tea contains small amounts of compounds and minerals that may interest plant lovers, but it’s not a substitute for a proper fertilizer. If you want to experiment with it, use plain, cooled, unsweetened green tea and keep it well diluted.

For Snake Plants, don’t overlook the basics: bright indirect light, fast-draining soil, and allowing the soil to dry between waterings.

Simple care. Healthy roots. Strong growth.

Snake Plant + Potato Water

Before you pour that leftover potato water into your plant, there’s one important rule: it must be completely plain, cooled, and unsalted.

Potato water may contain small amounts of nutrients released during cooking, but it’s not a replacement for proper plant fertilizer. Think of it as an occasional DIY experiment rather than a guaranteed growth booster.

For Snake Plants, the essentials still win: good light, well-draining soil, and careful watering.

Would you try potato water on your Snake Plant? 👀

Snake Plant + Used Coffee Grounds Water

If you’re wondering what to do with your leftover coffee grounds, you can reuse them to make a diluted liquid for your plants. Coffee grounds can contribute some organic matter and nutrients as they break down, but the amount available to the plant is limited.

If you want to try it, keep it well diluted and use it occasionally rather than making it your plant’s regular fertilizer. Snake Plants are slow growers and prefer well-draining soil with plenty of time to dry between waterings.

No miracle hacks — just simple, thoughtful plant care.

Snake Plant + Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea is sometimes used as a gentle DIY plant-care treatment, but it’s important to keep it plain, weak, and completely cooled. It’s not a substitute for proper plant fertilizer, so think of it as an occasional experiment rather than a miracle growth solution.

For Snake Plants, the basics still matter most: bright indirect light, well-draining soil, and allowing the soil to dry properly between waterings. 🪴

Snake Plant + Rice Water

Rice water is a popular DIY plant-care remedy, but it’s important to keep expectations realistic. It may contain small amounts of nutrients and compounds from the rice, but it isn’t a complete fertilizer.

If you want to try it, use plain, unsalted rice water, dilute it, and apply it occasionally. For a Snake Plant, proper light, well-draining soil, and letting the soil dry between waterings will always matter more.

Sometimes, simple plant care wins.

Snake Plant + Worm Casting Tea

Worm casting tea is a gentle way to give your plants a boost. It contains nutrients and beneficial microorganisms that can support healthy soil and steady plant growth.

For Snake Plants, though, less is more. They’re slow-growing and don’t need frequent feeding, so use a well-diluted tea occasionally and let the soil dry between waterings. 🪴

Healthy roots first. Strong leaves follow. 🌱
