I took this photo either the year of the ‘87 storm or the year before . It was just a picture of the fallen tree that had gone through a small port cabin , the Ferrari wasn’t parked there at the time phew! It belonged to the owner of the buisness who rented the office space above our small factory . Can’t remember the chaps name or the buisness , I think it was a 400 or 412 fairly sure it was an auto in a light shade of blue . I’ve tried to enhance the colour a bit as when I scanned it came out very pale/faded.

I know it’s not as significant as say 200k but it a sort of milestone . Was hoping to get to this mileage back in the summer back the car decided it needed a 5/6 week holiday in the south of France 😂.

Decided to take the plunge and purchase a new hood from eliseparts as my original is getting quite worn. Bit of a struggle to get it on first time as it was quite tight (to be expected) , found hooking the plastic strip into the windscreen the hardest part but seems to be a bit better now I guess it’s like breaking in a new pair of shoes 😂 it does have an extra weather strip that goes over the top of the window (last picture) which will help, we’ll see how it goes

I think this is the site of Rob Walkers old service station (not the original building obvs) on the corner of Deepdene avenue and London road in Dorking. If I’ve got it wrong somebody correct me ☺️.
