📕 Read Receipts: a brain-worm pun turned into a series of reading notepads.

Leave a receipt of your reading experience.
When you are done with a book, fill out one of these receipts and tuck it back between the pages. Or gather them in a shoe box, or pass them onto a friend to share your thoughts.

Revisit them when you re-read a book, or when a friend visits and asks you about that book on your shelf and you just can’t quite remember what you thought about it.

Available on the website now in a few fun colours (which has gotten a little facelift as well).

To add to the @verysmallbookshopbristol bookshop day festivities: A very small (and very exciting) pop-up!

In addition to hosting a saddle stitch binding workshop, I’ll be bringing a range of handmade and handbound journals, planners, and read receipts in special colours 🌝

Come by Willway Yard in Bristol on October 10th for all the books, all the journals, and all the fun. It’ll be a 10/10 day ⭐️ by @minuet_workshop

there are no weekends like @colonyofartists weekends ❤️ unmatched atmosphere, community, and good spirits, we had the happiest time. thank you all SO much for stopping by and to the colonies team for putting together yet another epic event — and of course to wonderful @abbeyhill_kat and Bill for letting us share their magnificent garden with Bill’s stunning paintings and glorious apple tree 🍎❤️

when we met Stephanie of @minuet_workshop - we just knew we had to do something together!!

so on the 10th of October (bookshop day!!) we will be holding two saddle-stitch workshops where you can learn to make your own handbound notebook, and then stay to decorate it - all materials provided. Tickets and more information about the event on headfirst, link in our bio.

Not only that, Stephanie will be bringing her STUNNING handmade journals, notebooks and wonderful invention of ‘read receipts’ over to our shop so that Bristol can get their hands on these beautiful handmade pieces of ART
