Our One-on-One Program is like a mini residency designed for artists who want focused time in the studio without committing to a longer stay.

Spend a few hours or a few days working alongside a collaborative printer, whether you’re interested in focused editioning help, experimentation, learning or troubleshooting a technique, or trying to bring a larger project into focus. We’ll meet you where you are and help you make the strongest version of the work you envision. Reach out through our website or email us at info@mirabopress.com.

The most direct way to collaborate with Mirabo is through contract printing. We work alongside artists to create new images, then we print their editions using processes including etching, relief printing, screenprinting, hybrid techniques, and bookmaking.

Individual artists, galleries, universities, and institutions are all welcome to reach out. Whether you’re looking for a single unique work or a museum-quality edition, we’d be happy to talk through your ideas. Requesting a quote is by @mirabo.press

Our residency program offers artists an opportunity to use all the tools in our 6,700 square foot studio as well as full time access to the expertise of our collaborative master printers. New to printmaking? Great, we got you. Already a printmaker? Also awesome. Feel free to email with any questions: info@mirabopress.com

@bajus.jozef made so many prints while in residence this month! We’ve been working with scanned texture, stencils, monotypes, pressure prints, and screenprints. Here’s a look at the process behind one of the series. We’ll be back soon with more.

This is where Commotion started. 👀

Kyle Butler at work during the first Intensive Raft Residency at Mirabo Press, a week of making, experimenting, printing, and pushing new ideas.

Now, that work is making its way to TENfold.

Commotion, Kyle’s solo exhibition, opens October 23, bringing together new painting, print, and sculpture, including work created during his residency.

The Raft Residency was created in honor of Elisabeth Samuels, and her belief in artists, experimentation, and the power of creativity to unite a community.

We can’t wait for you to see where this new program has led.

Kyle Butler’s new solo show, COMMOTION, opens at TENfold Gallery in ONE month.

Join us on Friday October 23 from 7–9 PM for new work in painting, print, and sculpture that distorts and reimagines the familiar structures, roads, signs, and overlooked spaces of the built environment.

The exhibition includes work created during Kyle’s intensive residency at Mirabo Press, the first of its kind through The Raft Residency, created in honor of Elisabeth Samuels and inspired by her deep belief in artists, experimentation, and the power of making things happen.

Also on view: new work throughout The Connector, with food by SEVENs, wine selected by Eric Frick of Cuvée, and a DJ throughout the evening.

If there is a matter of real urgency, you can reach out via email or contact a co-founder directly. Enjoy the tail end of summer and take care! @rachelshelton_ @bobflemingus @mizinshin by @mirabo.press

We had a blast having @rachelleahc in residence. Paper cuts, stencils, pressure prints, monotypes, and lots of color kept us busy all week. Rachel takes an interdisciplinary approach and intends to push these elements into other areas of her work as well, as animations, collages, etc. and we can’t wait to see where it all ends up.

We have Rachel Leah Cohn in residence this week and would love to welcome you to the studio to see her work while she’s here!

Rachel is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, video, and performance. She holds an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and values experimentation, collaboration, and finding new ways to describe the world around her. Recent projects have included an attempt to study the inner life of oysters, building a dream sauna, and reenacting memories for further investigation.

While at Mirabo, Rachel is exploring relief printing techniques including pressure printing and monotype. Come see what she’s up to this Friday from 12-2 PM. The studio will be open to the public, and Rachel welcomes conversations about her work and process.
