COPPER COINS CHINESE EDITIONS PLUS GOODIES.

Can I read Chinese? No, kinda wish but no. Did I order it because of the pretty merch and THE REALLY PRETTY BOOK CASE AND BOOKS ITSELF. Yes. Yes I did.

Copper Coins is one of my absolute favorite reads, the story, the ART, the characters everything was so GOOD! So I definitely needed the merch from the Chinese edition cuz honestly I have no clue if anyone else knew about the series or if there was merch out. Shout out to @funimecity for the safe shipping and everything coming so well packed. If you want a good read please check out Copper Coins!

Now I just need to find a place to display all this pretty merch.

Forgot to add March I…kinda read a lot more than I expected last month LOL, AT LEAST I FINALLY STARTED HEAVENS OFFICIAL BLESSING AND COPPER COINS.

I also learned a few things with my spread, I CANNOT do a TBR and I don’t need the boxes on the monthly page spread so notes for next time! It’s fun figuring out what works and what doesn’t with this book journal. I also need to work on my spread for my book review journal so that’ll be posted later when I uh…get through THAT particular list I’m behind on hahaha.

Progress! Filled out the first page(s) of the new books I’ve read so far! Kinda proud I got this far and can’t wait to see how far I get for the rest of the year!

February wrap up!

I actually read more even if they were re-reads but it’s a comfy way for me to figure things out how I want to do this. I’m having fun filling out my journal and getting through my LONG TBR *laughs nervously* and poking out at other types of books too. I’m really starting to see things I can improve on but I’m definitely getting better at consistency.

*now prays I survive reading Heaven’s Official Blessing since that’s a book I’ve been putting off for a while my friend made me keep to my promise to start it in February*

Okay so I finished SVSS last year but didn’t have time to post this BUT I did enjoy the series and can see how it was MXTX’s first book. I had a lot of fun designing and putting together entries for this series and did a fun bonus page with the back of the book pictures.

First month of the reading journal complete! I had made a trip to the library and picked up a few books that caught my interest so it was fun reading those books besides what I had at home. I probably need a better way do the hours/time for each book but I’ll stick to days for now at the moment. I’m getting a feel what works for the next one I do so this is a good test run.

Last part!

Overall I had a lot of fun and binged way too many YouTube journaling videos, doom scrolled on my reels that fed me more ideas for book journaling layouts. There are so many amazing ppl who do this annually and their spreads look so good and I got inspiration for this book journal and followed many of them.

So goal of 2026 is keeping up with this journal, devour more books, restock my danmei merch for 2027’s spread and see where to go from there.

I wanna keep the danmei theme going, and improve my spread next year (at least the monthly and extra pages).

Part two! I forgot how many pics I took to show the monthly format and the stickers I used.

I really tried to use most of my MXTX merch and I did I had so much pretty art I was excited to put together for this book journal but this is was I felt worked for me. The Dutch door was fun and hopefully the book list for that month will have enough room same with the monthly books.

Same with the monthly release book dates I just like having a physical list of books I guess and it was a nice use of space too and also to look forward to what books are coming out next month as well!

I’m am entering 2026 with an attempt to become more consistent (and get through my backlog if books) so I am going to do my best to fill out this book journal for 2026-2027. So here’s part one of my spread!

I wanted to have something of a theme and well most of the books I’m going to be reading are like 80% Danmei with the other 20% being Light novels or other books so digging out my stickers and mini prints of all the MXTX merch I have (plus some other merch I had from Disabled Tyrant’s Pet Fish) I put this together and I had a lot of fun doing it, especially making the bookshelf spread look like the shelves from Cloud Recesses.

I wanted to keep it somewhat simple for where I wouldn’t feel like I was pressuring myself, my goal is to at least finish two books a month minimally anything after is a bonus, so no set reading goal just getting through my TBR and reading books I have been putting off. The books on my TBR are the ones I want to attempt to get through first, I’ll be adding more once I make a dent in those hopefully.

I was lured to get this by a very entertaining caption summery from Barnes and Nobles and decided to give it a shot. It’s an enjoyable slice of life DnD like setting.

So I don’t read horror like ever/much but I was curious about this one since it was based around the legend of the girl from the well. Really interesting since it talked more about the history in reference to the reasoning and the plot was captivating enough for me to want to get the second book eventually.

One of the stickers is from @mishydraws 💕 and Venti is from @ten_shika HAHAHA I FORGOT TO MOVE HIM
