World Environment Day 🌍🌱

To celebrate the world environmental day, The T.R.E.E Initiative, alongside partners like the Rotaract Club of UNN, Plogging Nigeria, Impact-ED and others, came together for the 1000 Trees Planting Campaign at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Beyond planting, I learnt the importance of proper spacing and accurate measurements in tree planting, as well as the use of plant markers for identifying growing trees 🌿

Trees give us life, oxygen, food, shade, shelter, cleaner air, and a thriving habitat for both humans and wildlife 💚

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is now.”

Planting today for a greener tomorrow 🌍✨

I came for the rides and left with a story 😂. From screaming at the top of my lungs, to the funny experiences in between, Apapa amusement park was fun in its own way messy, chaotic, and unforgettable.

From fellowship days with my Rotaract family ...
To carrying out projects like volunteering for a joint eye health project outreach where we visited a primary school and gave Primary 5 & 6 students free eye checkups 👓👧🏽👦🏽…
To that unforgettable trip to Calabar for the 9th DRR Installation, a perfect blend of learning, laughter, and memories ✨

Every experience has been a reminder that growth isn’t always noticeable but we always have to be thankful for everything especially the little things.

I’m back here now, and yes, I’ll be sharing my story more often. Because every chapter counts. 🫶

I can get scared, and sometimes forget what God says, but Joshua 1:9 reminds me:

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

As I reflect on the first half of this year, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for all the experiences that have shaped me. Starting this year with no plan but trusting in God's guidance, I could never have imagined the journey ahead. In just six months, so much has happened, both good and challenging and I see now and believe that every moment are part of His greater plan.

I'm grateful to God, for the lessons, the growth, and the blessings. Here's to continuing this God did year with faith and hope. 🤍
