I have always wanted to do a Queen of Hearts Headshot session. With the help of the amazing @miranda.101 I finally got my chance. After She gave me the “off with their heads” pose I thought it would be fun to take one of the photos, put it into Grok ai and see if it would create a video based on my prompt. Where the desert meets high fashion; An editorial somewhere between untamed and unapologetic. ◈ PHOTO: @jcphotomedia ◈ Thank you so much for pulling me away from the group for a private shoot. You not only understood that I loved the outfit and wanted to make sure we got the shots in it, but you also took the time to coach one of the photographers during the workshop, which I thought was incredibly generous, and what our industry needs to see more of. ◈ Your guidance and expertise not only helped her, but gave me the opportunity to learn more about photography and better understand how I can support the talent I work with in the future. ◈ Learning more about how lighting is positioned and determined, as well as how different shooting angles affect a portrait, has given me a better understanding of what a photographer is envisioning behind the camera. That understanding will help me visualize the shot, adjust my posing and expressions accordingly, and ultimately make it easier for the photographer to capture exactly what they’re looking for. ◈ I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and creating an experience where I could grow not only as a model, but as a creative as well. Ladies, get you a man in uniform… or just become the man in uniform 🫡 ◈ Joking aside, I am forever grateful to the men and women who actually serve and risk their lives to protect us and our country. ❤️🇺🇸 ◈ Built between 1853 and 1861, Fort Point was constructed to defend the entrance to San Francisco Bay from naval attack and was fully armed during the Civil War. An interesting fact I learned was that the cannons never actually fired in battle! Today, Fort Point stands as a National Historic Site beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, preserving a unique piece of San Francisco’s military history. ◈ And yes, this is a real military uniform. It applied beautifully, photographed flawlessly, and gave me the metallic statue effect we were hoping for. Every detail held up under studio lighting, making this transformation possible. ◈ Thanks to an incredible team and some seriously impressive products!
