This week I added ~Assistant Professor~ to my already eclectic resume!

After my first introduction to Kansas State's APDesign program in 2016 through the work of KCDC, I'm thrilled to have accepted the role and responsibility of teaching a 3rd year architecture studio this Fall as well as a theory seminar on 20th century conceptual art and the generative role of play in the studio practice.

This week started off strong with:

✨ Incoming new home studio ✨ and just in time to participate in this summer's 'T' Space Architecture Residency through the Steven Myron Holl Foundation. Week one of this intensive five week program is done and it feels SO good to stretch some creative muscles and make a new space of my own. by @miranda.k.clark

I'm incredibly thrilled to be among the talented group of artists, musicians, and performers selected for this year's Art in the Loop project.

The 2025 theme, Wonder, is a perfect fit for the way I've always experienced the urban-- layers of buildings, geometries, people, window reflections, and sounds of traffic. My installation, titled Jewel, collapses those layers to encourage the viewer to stop for a second look and explore a new way of seeing in an otherwise forgettable moment in transit.

A huge thank you to Art in the Loop and the talented install team at @signcokc !

After a great big hiatus, I'm finally thinking about studio things again!

I did what I promised myself I would do. I spent three years (plus one in transition) to focus on what architecture would look like for me. I made the leap to attend grad school, knowing the studio --the practice-- would always be there for me while I pushed myself in new directions. I'm happy to return with fresh eyes and new curiosities.

I'm really just ready to make big things again. by @miranda.k.clark

As sunshine makes an appearance in KC, I can't help but think of a very warm summer in Rome--

I'm finally getting around to celebrating a few things 🎉

Thank you @desireecmorales for always documenting these kinds of things and fixing my wardrobe malfunctions
