This weekend was for little girls in us who grew up strong, the tomboys who played rough, and the ones who didnt fit the term “soft and quiet.” This weekend, I had the privilege to be surrounded by women who were bold, fearless, and unapologetically powerful. I saw something so beautiful. I saw women being free. Free to move, free to push their limits, and free to cheer each other on and lift each other higher. Watching it all, I couldn’t help but think, “This is what I wish the little girl in me had seen more of.”

I hope all the little girls watching us know that
You never have to shrink yourself to be loved.
You never have to hide your strength to be feminine. Because STRONG IS SEXY. STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL.

Huge shoutout to @timrileytraining and @apexathlete.official for putting on an event that didn’t just challenge us physically, but reminded us what is means to be women who uplift and empower each other. The energy, the love, and the passison was unreal.

My Apex fam, know you always have a home in Austin waiting for yall and a training partner ready to get after it with you🫶🏽😤

Walking away from this weekend with a full heart, sore muscles, and a deeper gratitude for the journey.
And above all, I’m thankful to God for the strength He placed in me long before I ever saw it in myself.

Do hard things on purpose, so when life gives you hard things you didn’t choose, you already know you can handle them.
We may not be able to control everything that gets hard, but we can control how we respond to it. Guess you can say I’m pretty lucky to have people who will do the hard things with me, make me smile, rub my feet, and hold my hand through it all. 🏃🏼‍♀️4 girls. 6 hours. One cause. ❤️
In ONE WEEK, we will be taking on Durus, 6-hour race where evey mile is about something bigger than ourselves!
As a Nurse Practitioner at Body Tonic RX, I’m so excited to be part of our efforts to raise money for A Kind Hart Foundation, a local organization giving back to children, families in need, and our Austin community. ❤️
My personal goal is to raise $1,000, with all donations going directly to A Kind Hart Foundation.
For 6 hours, we’ll run, push each other, and see just how many miles we can put in. 🏃🏼‍♀️
Every donation, big or small, gets us closer to our goal and helps us give back to the community we love.
A whole lot of miles. A whole lot of heart. All to help a whole lot of families. Let’s make them count. 🤍
