Here is a little snippet of something I’ve written in the past few days. Maybe it might help others feeling the same.

- I give myself permission to feel grief and sadness even when I chose to end a relationship. How I know I’ve grown, is I’m now self soothing during another hard period of my life, instead of outsourcing through others. I can now sit with physical and emotional pain in my chest and lean into it, rather than run. I am strong and I’m very capable of moving through this time alone and this was just an important lesson required. Like if not, one of my most pivotal lessons.

After all of the pain I have endured, this decision shows my strength and integrity and humility.

2 things can be true at once. I know I’m allowed to grieve this, but also know this was not a good relationship for my son and I.

I have always loved helping others, maybe this might make someone feel a little less alone too 🤎 by @mirandaflannery
