Apple and quince crumble with @chilternice vanilla ice cream, @pitchcott.farm never disappoints. I thought I loved it most for summer mornings but it is living up to autumn cosy vibes too. And boasts a HUGE conker tree.

We also had delicious @lovely_bitofcrumpet crumpets, sausage and halloumi baps. Plus hot chocolate, @doeandfawncoffee and hibiscus & hedgerow tea. Great views, very chilled.

Pitchcott Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and coffee.

Open Thursday to Monday, 9.30am–4pm, with hot food served until 3pm.

🎃 Pumpkin season has officially started at @lillingstonepickyourown!

@mirandaluke_ and family came along to choose their big pumpkin, plus a few little ones to decorate, and enjoy the start of spooky season at the farm.

Winter swim season has officially started ❄️
@mirandaluke_ and husband escaped for 90 minutes at @flo.wellbeing tucked away beside the lake at Blackpit Farm, between Stowe and Silverstone.

A proper switch-off, moving between:

• Wild swimming in the lake
• Wood-fired sauna
• Cold plunge
• Outdoor hot tubs
• On-site café for warming up afterwards

There’s something special about winter at Flö Wellbeing. Cold water, a hot sauna, hot tubs under the open sky and plenty of time surrounded by nature.

Sunday roast season is officially here 🍂
@mirandaluke_ and her family joined us @theharelinslade for a Sunday roast after a countryside walk that finished right opposite the pub.

Last weekend we were turning people away days in advance, so if you’re thinking about joining us this Sunday, this is your reminder to get that table booked now.

What’s on the menu? 🍽️
→ Roast beef, served medium rare
→ Roast chicken supreme
→ Roast pork belly with crackling
→ Trio of beef, chicken & pork
→ Winter vegetable Wellington with vegetable gravy

All roasts are served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and chef’s homemade gravy. You can add extra roasties, Yorkshires, gravy or cauliflower cheese too.

Bring the family, bring your friends or get a bigger group together. We can accommodate larger tables too, but you’ll definitely need to book ahead.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, plus children’s roasts. And don’t forget pudding. Our desserts are gluten-free too.

How to unwind as summer gives way to autumn 🍂

Surrounded by nature, with mist hanging over the water, @TheWildSauna at Whichford Mill is a rather special place to experience contrast therapy in the wild. Named Best UK Nature Sauna 2025 by the @britishsaunasociety, it’s already expanding, with a second sauna due to open on site in the coming months.

@mirandaluke_ visited with her husband for an afternoon moving between the wood-fired sauna, hot tub, spring-fed flower bath and dips in the shallow River Stour. They booked the sauna privately, giving them the whole space to themselves.

A natural skincare platter brought another ritual to the experience, with a clay face mask, sea-salt body scrub and rich post-sauna body butter, accompanied by foraged nettle and elderflower tea.

Afterwards, they headed to Straw Kitchen Café for a delicious lunch and a wander around neighbouring @whichfordpottery, all part of the same family-run estate and a lovely way to round off the visit.

One of my favourite projects from September, created for @thesuperprime_tsp

I’ve loved working with the team to create content that brings some of the incredible properties, places and stories they feature to life on social.

This one took me to The Newman, a new luxury hotel in Fitzrovia, where I worked across the production from planning and filming on location to directing talent, scripting, voiceover, graphics and the final edit.

One of the things I really enjoy about working with The Super Prime is the variety. Every project has a different story to tell and needs a slightly different creative approach.

Very pleased with how this one came together, and even better that the team loved the finished piece.

How do you market something that needs to be handled sensitively?

If you work in health, wellness or wellbeing, creating content can sometimes feel tricky. You want people to understand what you offer and why it could help them, without turning something personal or vulnerable into a marketing opportunity.

For me, good content in this space isn’t just about getting the best shots. It’s about understanding the people involved and telling the story with sensitivity.

Done well, a beautiful reel can actually remove some of the barriers that stop someone accessing a service. It can:

• show what it really feels like to attend
• answer questions they might be nervous to ask
• make an unfamiliar experience feel more approachable
• give someone the confidence to take that first step

My background spans journalism and book writing, primary school teaching, botanical horticulture and digital marketing. They might seem like very different worlds, but they’ve all taught me a lot about people, communication and telling stories with care.

And sometimes the right answer isn’t putting a camera in someone’s face. I can help you find another way to tell your story that feels right for you and your business.
