No Mirante do Gavião, a floresta inspira o olhar e a maneira de acolher.

Celebramos Marilia Pellegrini, vencedora do Prêmio Casa e Jardim 2026 na categoria Hotéis (Desfrute), pelo projeto de renovação do hotel de selva, às margens do Rio Negro.

Com sensibilidade, a arquiteta trouxe novas camadas de conforto e beleza aos interiores, preservando a identidade do Mirante e sua relação com a Amazônia. Nas tramas feitas à mão, nas cores e na luz que percorre os ambientes, o design encontra os saberes locais e convida a viver a floresta de perto.

Compartilhamos a alegria desse reconhecimento com as equipes, os artesãos, os sócios e todos que deram forma ao projeto. À Casa e Jardim, nosso agradecimento por celebrar um trabalho que encontra na Amazônia sua maior inspiração.

At Mirante do Gavião, the forest inspires our perspective and the way we welcome our guests.

We celebrate Marilia Pellegrini, winner of the 2026 Casa e Jardim Award in the Hotels (Desfrute) category, for her renovation of the jungle lodge on the banks of the Rio Negro.

With a thoughtful approach, the architect brought new layers of comfort and beauty to the interiors, preserving Mirante’s identity and its connection to the Amazon. Through handwoven textures, colors, and light that flows through each space, design meets local knowledge, inviting guests to experience the forest up close.

We share the joy of this recognition with the teams, artisans, partners, and everyone who helped bring the project to life. Our thanks to Casa e Jardim for celebrating a project that finds its greatest inspiration in the Amazon.

Ele chega sem reserva, escolhe um lugar privilegiado e ainda pesca o próprio café da manhã.

Pequeno, ágil e cheio de personalidade, o martim-pescador é um dos moradores mais atentos das margens do Rio Negro e uma presença frequente durante as navegações. Seu nome não é por acaso. De um ponto de observação, ele acompanha o movimento das águas e, ao avistar um peixe, mergulha com uma precisão impressionante.

Sempre por perto, esse maroto pescador nos lembra que, na Amazônia, basta olhar com um pouco mais de atenção para perceber a vida acontecendo por todos os lados.

No Mirante do Gavião, alguns hóspedes vêm de longe. Outros já chamam a floresta de casa e parecem conhecer os melhores lugares.

He arrives without a reservation, chooses a prime spot, and even catches his own breakfast.

Small, agile, and full of personality, the kingfisher is one of the most attentive residents along the banks of the Rio Negro and a familiar sight during boat trips. Its name is no coincidence. From its observation point, it watches the movement of the water and, as soon as it spots a fish, dives with remarkable precision.

Always nearby, this cheeky fisherman reminds us that, in the Amazon, all it takes is a little more attention to notice life unfolding in every direction.

A floresta convida a chegar mais perto.

Subir nas raízes de uma árvore, sentir a textura do tronco, descobrir caminhos entre pedras, acompanhar a luz atravessando a copa. Para uma criança, a natureza não é apenas paisagem. É espaço de encontro, movimento e descoberta.

Quando existe liberdade para explorar, a relação acontece de forma espontânea. O corpo encontra outros ritmos, o olhar se demora nos detalhes e cada experiência cria uma memória própria daquele lugar.

Na Amazônia, talvez uma das formas mais bonitas de conhecer a floresta seja assim: tocando, observando, brincando e deixando que ela também faça parte da infância.

A arquitetura do Mirante do Gavião foi pensada para existir dentro da floresta, e não apenas diante dela.

Na Casa na Árvore, a construção se eleva entre as copas e transforma a cobertura em um ponto privilegiado de contemplação. Um mirante particular para observar o Rio Negro, acompanhar as mudanças da luz ao longo do dia e perceber a floresta de uma nova perspectiva.

Aqui, a natureza se aproxima. A presença da fauna, os sons e os movimentos ao redor fazem com que cada momento seja diferente.

The architecture of Mirante do Gavião was designed to exist within the forest, not simply in front of it.

At the Tree House, the structure rises among the treetops, transforming the rooftop into a privileged place for contemplation. A private lookout over the Rio Negro, where you can observe the changing light throughout the day and experience the forest from a new perspective.

Here, nature comes closer. The presence of local wildlife, along with the sounds and movements of the forest, makes every moment feel different.
