Matthew 6:33 … I read this scripture this morning, and it hit differently.

The last couple of days, I’ve been asking God some hard questions. Why did He trust me with four children if this journey was going to be this hard?

I’ve been overwhelmed. Frustrated. Tired.

I even found myself praying, “God, harden my heart. I’m tired of being nice. I’m tired of forgiving. Build my discernment. Build my wisdom.”

Then I realized something.

Every season that makes me feel like I can’t do this anymore is usually the same season that pushes me to seek Him first.

Maybe I don’t need a harder heart. Maybe I just need a wiser one.

And when I look back, God has carried me and my children through too much for me to doubt Him now. 🤍 by @mirgorham

Today, my oldest is being promoted to high school. 🥹

I’m not your typical idea of “fun”… and I’m okay with that 🤍

I don’t watch TV often after I think about it’s been MONTHSSSS 😩😂

I’d rather read, reset, and realign until I get it right.

Social media will have you thinking one thing about me… until you actually get to know me.

Picked up Start With Yourself by Emma Grede last one at Barnes & Noble in Milford, CT.

And a Bible I can actually understand…

no overthinking, just reading and growing for real.
