STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Congratulations to School of Style graduate Miriam Brown (@miriandum)! Miriam has been building her styling career working alongside some of the industry’s leading stylists, including @luxurylaw, @kollincarter, @erikziemba, and @jenniferudechukwu. Most recently, she worked with Kollin Carter’s team on Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour, sourcing pieces for Cardi and fabrics for her dancers, while traveling across the country to hand deliver custom looks for the tour.

Miriam’s growing portfolio spans fashion, music, editorial, and red carpet, including assisting Law Roach during the “Tron: Ares” press tour and on Kris Jenner’s Vogue Arabia cover shoot. She has also worked on Elena Velez’s Spring/Summer 2026 New York Fashion Week show, Paper Magazine and Replica Man editorials, and her first red carpet dressing for the 2025 BET Awards. We’re proud to see Miriam continue to grow and make her mark in the styling industry!

I am my ancestor’s wildest dream. On this Juneteenth, highlighting a shoot with the phenomenal Betye Saar that I had the privilege to be a part of. She is an amazing artist and honored to be in the same room as her and view some of her spectacular pieces throughout her career

2016 was the first time I cut my hair and thought I looked my mom 🥹, HEAVY into my obsession with BCBG, ran my first Tough Mudder less than 24 hours after seeing The Formation World Tour, and creating cherished memories with friends and family. As the four year anniversary of me moving to LA approaches, I’ve reflected on the amazing projects I’ve worked on this year and how it wouldn’t have been possible without @schoolofstyle. Late last year, when I saw School of Style was coming back with @luxurylaw as the mentor, I had to sign up for this opportunity to learn from him. Since completing the 8 week course in March of this year, I’ve worked on life changing projects with amazing people that I’ve long respected and admired within this industry. Thank you @luxurylaw, @schoolofstyle, @theonly.agency for this school and the access you’ve provided to the alumni of this program, both past and present! Grateful for all that has happened thus far and can’t wait to see what’s next 🫶🏿 by @miriandum
