Some things are made to hold us together.
Some things remind us that being held can hurt.

Ouch begins with the familiar shape of a safety pin and turns it into something strangely alive
part object, part memory, part character. Its exaggerated form feels playful at first, but beneath that playfulness is something deeply human: the little wounds, attachments, and fragile moments we carry with us.

The pin becomes a metaphor for connection for everything we use to keep things in place, to mend what is broken, to keep ourselves from falling apart. And yet, every once in a while, even the things that protect us can leave a mark.

Handwoven with care and transformed into a sculptural presence, the Ouch family finds beauty in this contradiction.

It holds. It protects. It hurts.
And somehow, it keeps us together.
