Will I see a sunset in a free Gaza before I die? Those beaches are so alive in my father’s memory…he never stops recalling!

May their poetic expressions find poetic justice, at the end! I am haunted by the beauty of this Gazan sunset, captured by @alijadallah66 🧡, and by the words of @hindkhoudary, crafting beauty “all under a sky tainted with swirling black smoke” as follows:

“Amidst the recent telecommunications blackout, the chronicle of our existence unfolds in colors of resilience and hope.

For 17 years, beneath the shadow of the Israeli blockade on Gaza, the sea has been our refuge-a relentless azure sanctuary persisting despite the ominous presence of warships.

Against this backdrop, Deir El Balah's beach becomes a canvas of emotions: fishermen casting their vibrant nets, people hugging each other, all under a sky tainted with swirling black smoke.

Every daylight minute becomes a palette of joy, a mosaic of vibrant moments, for the night holds only shadows of terror and fear.
Sir, we diligently impart the vivid lessons of life, painting our narrative in the resilient hues of existence.

Our existence is our resistance 🇵🇸
