PANDO PANDO + REGAN BOWERING

Pando Pando comprise producer, trumpeter and electronic musician Alex Bonney, and two percussionists, Jem Doulton and Will Glaser.

Alex Bonney is a trumpeter, electronic musician and recording/mix/mastering engineer and producer based in London.
He performs internationally with several groups including Pando Pando, Leverton Fox, Scarla O’Horror, Brass Mask, light.box, Olie Brice’s Quintet and Octet, in duo with Will Glaser as well as many informal improv collaborations with leading improvisers on the UK scene.
He is also in demand in the studio and works for a great variety of artists on their album releases for leading record labels including ECM.

Will Glaser was born in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. In 2010 he moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Drawing eclectically on the Jazz tradition, Improvised music, Rock, Noise, Folk, Blues, Experimental and Electronic music - Will leads his own projects and is a highly in demand drummer on the British Jazz and Experimental music scenes.

Jem Doulton currently plays for Au Pairs, The Thurston Moore Group, The DNA Test, Grimm Grimm, Too Many Things, Heckle Chamber, Pando Pando... He 'was once' Mr Ron Jetson until the exorcism happened.

Regan Bowering is a percussionist, improviser and sound artist based in London. Her solo work explores various combinations of drums and percussion, objects, amps, speakers, and feedback. Her debut album “Solos for _ _ _ _ Spaces” (Dec 2023 on Bezirk Tapes) was described as “a play of contrasts, contradicting voluminous expressions with confined phrases, taming resounding feedback with faint percussive flutters, but one that feels driven by the desire to craft electrifying drama rather than pure autotelic dissonance.”

I’m collaborating with my good friends at @mirr_ortv to put on some very interesting shows in London. It would be lovely to see any of my friends at any of these gigs !!!

First event is Pando Pando at @theoldchurchn16 on the 17th October with support from @reganalana

Comprising producer, trumpeter and electronic musician Alex Bonney, and two percussionists, Jem Doulton and Will Glaser, Pando Pando have arrived at this new release following a series of improvised gigs in which they evolved as a trio, developing a monumental musical understanding, exploring the vast range of possibilities of their singular line-up. Emotions are oceans and love is the anchor, love is the pinhole through which the water, centrifugal, in process of purification, flows through. Tears clear the heart, voicing our heart circulates our airs and waters around the temple of our body. As we emit song, we open the portal to voice, offer our heart to life, our temple clears and renews, open to receive again.

Lætitia Sadier with support by A Ghost Column.

We are absolutely thrilled to have Laetitia Sadier return to performing for us.

When she played at a previous Mirror TV night last July in Hackney under the pseudonym Connie Planque she made us cry, laugh, dance. She captivated the room with a show of rare class and intelligence.

This concert also marks the beginnining of our collaboration with the astounding King Alfred Phoenix Theater.

During her 30 year career, Laetitia Sadier has never shied away from the hard topics, or stopped advocating for self determination and emancipation in the face of the powers that be. This is an essential part of the foundation she co-built with Stereolab and continued with Monade and an additional five LPs under her own name.
