In Margo’s Got Money Troubles, aspiring writer Margo Millet finds her life taking an unexpected turn. Reinventing herself online as the sci-fi-inspired persona “Hungry Ghost”, Margo enters a world of aliens, platform boots, cone bras, and bold self-expression. 👽✨

Costume designer and CDG member Mirren Gordon-Crozier brought that journey to life through costumes that balance fantasy while charting Margo’s growth, resilience, and evolving sense of self.

“As Costume Designer on Margo’s Got Money Troubles, I developed character-driven costumes that followed Margo’s evolution from a struggling college student into the creator of her unconventional career as an OnlyFans star.

For Margo’s character, I used a mix of vintage sourcing, cosplay influences, thrifted pieces, and custom-built looks to blur the line between fantasy and reality while supporting the show’s themes of reinvention, motherhood, and self-discovery. My hope was that the costumes would feel authentic and lived-in while still remaining visually stimulating.”
