Such a beautiful evening last night supporting @cancer_connection at their Harvest Dinner! As I said in my remarks, I am in awe at how far we have coming in understanding the need for - and truly offering - support and comfort for patients and their families. Cancer Connection provides its services free of charge, and, in return, people stepped up in such beautiful ways to support them so they can keep doing this work!

🪩✨This evening’s Cancer Connection Harvest Dinner was a beautiful reminder of the strength found in community. Held each October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this annual gathering brings people together to share personal journeys, reflect, and recognize how deeply cancer touches us all.

I’m grateful to Executive Director Chelsea Kline and Development Manager Liz Horn for their thoughtful leadership and for the care they bring to this work. I was also honored to sit with my friend, State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa, who shared moving words and a beautiful tribute.

Tonight’s Aurora Women and Girls Foundation Luminary Celebration at The Bushnell showed what that can make possible. Through its Young Women’s Initiative, young women of color build skills for school and the workforce—and become changemakers in their communities.

🌟 Monday Motivation: Dream big and give your dreams room to grow.

Last week, I was in New York with my brother Kerim as he was recognized by A Chance In Life. The evening celebrated his accomplishments and the nonprofit’s inspiring work to create opportunities for young people around the world.

From the time we were young, Kerim has had an entrepreneurial spirit—seeing possibility in an idea and imagining what it could become. Today, he is President of Atlas Network, a global supply chain expert, author, and speaker. I admire the curiosity, vision, and years of work behind all he has accomplished. Kerim, I’m so grateful to be your sister and to have watched your journey unfold.

His story has me thinking about the dreams and goals we each carry in our own work and lives. This week, take a moment to ask yourself:

🌟 What an energizing day at the 2026 sheLEADS Conference! This year’s theme, “Make the Room Bigger,” came to life through the conversations, connections, and ideas shared throughout the day.

🪩✨ Meeting Daymond John was such a meaningful experience. 🍁 Motivation Monday: Every handoff moves the work forward.

When you see pumpkins for sale, you’re seeing the result of many people passing the baton. Someone planted the seeds, others tended the fields, harvested and sorted the pumpkins, then transported and arranged them for sale. Each role and handoff helped move the harvest forward.

This is how teams work. When people understand their roles and how their work connects to what comes next, the whole team can move toward shared results.

🌟 What a joy it was to spend today at the Women in Business Summit in Bristol, Connecticut, surrounded by women who lead with purpose, curiosity, and heart.
