baptism 🕊️

on July 14 2024, I got baptized. This moment filled with pure joy marked a new beginning in my journey with Jesus, a beautiful declaration publicly for my faith in Him, my love for Him and commitment to living for Him. Growing up in the church, I always felt His presence guiding me, but this act of obedience deepened my relationship with Him in a profound way. I’ve come to understand the depths of His love and grace. Jesus has made me alive and new, clothing me in His white robe of righteousness. This transformation is a testament to His grace. I am so grateful for His love and the new life He offers. I am so grateful for His grace and the community of believers and loved ones that supported me in every stage of my life.
I reflect on the trials, pain, and difficulties I’ve faced, and I realize that these struggles only deepen my dependence on Him. Jesus is truly my life, my savior ,my only hope and my portion forever . No matter the challenges, His love and faithfulness are unfailing, offering us peace and purpose in every season of life. Life’s trials and pain have been real, but through every difficulty, His love transforms and sustains us, even in the hardest moments.
My baptism signifies my fellowship with Christ in His death and resurrection. It represents my being engrafted into Him, the remission of my sins, and my total surrender to God through Jesus Christ. I am dead to self and alive to God, living and walking in newness of life. Not I, but Christ lives in me, devoting myself entirely to Him and serving Him all my life.
I want to encourage anyone who hasn’t yet believed in Him: the Bible is our guide, and Scripture teaches us that faith in Christ alone brings salvation. It is by grace alone that we are redeemed, and all glory belongs to God alone.

We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the father, we too might walk in the newness of life. For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His. We know that our old self was crucified with Him.
