This is how grief looks sometimes.
My father met his Creator in December 2025. Since then, I’ve felt numb. Some days I laugh, but mostly I cry your absence is one of the heaviest things I’ve ever carried. I skip meals. I don’t always feel things the way I used to. Sometimes I don’t even know how to react. I’m scared of getting sick because deep down I feel like I’m all alone now, like there’s no one left to care for me the way he did.
I lost the closest person in my life, my best friend, my greatest blessing, the best father I could have ever asked for. I’m forever grateful to Allah SWT for giving me you, Baba. I know I will never experience that kind of love and care again in this world.
You were part of my daily routine. Now I wake up not knowing what to do with the emptiness. I see you in my dreams, and for a moment, everything feels good and calm. When I wake up, I go quiet but I’m also grateful that I still get to see you there.
I love you. Always have. Always will.

Yours Misal ❤️‍🩹

Going from talking to that one person for 25 years to complete silence hurts the most. ❤️‍🩹

The bond between a father and daughter is the most beautiful thing on earth.
