We hold it together through the questions, the problems, the “Mom, I need…” and the endless mental list.

Then the door closes—and we’re sliding down the wall, sobbing because we finally have a minute when nobody needs us.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup.” ☕

Baby, the cup is empty. The pot’s damn near dry, and we’re STILL tipping that bitch like we can squeeze out one more drop. 🫠

We love our people. But we’re exhausted. Both can be true.

And wiping our faces before everybody gets home doesn’t mean we’re okay.

I stop for vintage Broncos. 😂🤍

Spotted this gorgeous ’66 Bronco during Rod Run in Tennessee and there was ZERO chance I was walking away without getting a closer look. 😍

The white. The old-school dash. The open sides. The simplicity.

She. Is. BEAUTIFUL. 🤍

There’s just something about seeing one of the originals that makes this Bronco girl ridiculously happy.

Misby will always be my girl…

but apparently I have a thing for older women too. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Apparently my oldest daughter had joint custody. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Hallie was only 16–17, loading up her little sisters and taking them places like she had shared custody.

Ma’am… YOU ARE ALSO ONE OF THE CHILDREN. 😂

But looking back, I love it.

Those three grew up loving each other, showing up for each other, protecting each other, aggravating the absolute HELL out of each other 😂… and still choosing each other.

I spent a lot of years wondering if I was doing motherhood right.

Then I look at these three women and think…

maybe the answer was right in front of me all along. ❤️

Hallie, thanks for helping raise my children.

Your child-support check is still not coming. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Another last… with my last baby. 😢🏐❤️

Her final chapter of volleyball—and one more motherhood chapter quietly closing for me too.

I’m so proud of the woman she’s becoming… while also wondering who gave her permission to grow up this fast. 😭😂

So I’ll keep showing up, cheering too loud, taking too many pictures and soaking up every second.

Because damn, this motherhood thing goes fast. ❤️

When your daughter and son-in-law build a homestead… you embrace the chicken life. 😂🐓

Hallie and Kyle are building a beautiful little life together, and I absolutely love getting to watch it take shape. ❤️

Do I know anything about chickens? Not particularly. 😂
Am I going to show up in my overalls and act like I belong? Obviously.

One of the best parts of having grown children is watching them create a life that’s completely their own.

Different dreams. Different paths. And exactly how it should be. ❤️

✨ The younger me wanted to be liked.

The woman I am now wants to be happy. 🤍

And somewhere along the way, I realized those two things don’t always coexist.

Getting older has taught me that I don’t have to explain every decision, make everyone comfortable, or keep saying yes when everything inside me is screaming no. ✌️

There’s something incredibly freeing about finally asking:

What do I want? 💭

Not what’s expected of me.
Not what keeps everyone else happy.
Not what I’ve always done.

Me. ❤️

Maybe that’s one of the greatest gifts of getting older.

You don’t become less of yourself.

You finally become more of her. ✨🤍

Here’s to knowing ourselves better, caring a little less about what everyone else thinks, and enjoying the hell out of this next chapter. 🥂✨
