Yosemite this time last year

Having seen how overcrowded the park was this past weekend, I was left feeling grateful for this incredibly peaceful visit Brandt and I took in 2025.

We are so lucky that weddings take us to amazing places like this and I am so grateful for Brandt especially being the guy to make it all happen 🎞️

Oh Penny, my Penny 💛 also known lovingly as Pennifer, Peneloper, Pen-Pen, Penner, Sunshine Puppy, Perpetual Puppy, and so many more. I adopted Penny from the pound in 2014 for my birthday going into high-school. I remember going into the visiting yard for the small dogs and kneeling down next to a chair, which Penny proceeded to jump up on then stretched her front legs onto one of my knees then her back legs onto the other in a circus-like balancing act. I was perplexed and enamored and knew I was the one who had actually been chosen. Penny came to me in a time that I needed her most — she brought so much joy and comfort to me and anyone she met. I always felt so grateful to share that. She could just as easily run up a mountain or down the beach as she could curl up in a sunbeam or settle into the sand. Yesterday marked 11 years since I took Penny home, and on 8/8 she was sent peacefully to rest 🤍🪽🐶 i love you forever, Penelope ♾️ by @misc.mila
