This Olympic Day, the Philippine Rugby Football Union is celebrating one of our own, Filipino-American Olympian and Olympic bronze medallist Alena Olsen @misc_alleneous 🏉🥉

Earlier this year, Alena visited Pass It Back Coach training in Albay, where she met young leaders using rugby to create positive change in their communities. Her visit was a powerful reminder of how the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect can inspire the next generation.

The impact continues beyond Albay. Coaches in Olongapo are now building on these same approaches through Pass It Back, using rugby as a tool to support young people, strengthen leadership, and contribute to safer communities.

Through the support of Olympism365, @afd_france, @childfundrugby, @allianceofsport and our partners, PRFU is expanding opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and thrive through rugby.

This Olympic Day, we’re proud to celebrate the connection between Olympic sport and community impact, and grateful to Alena for inspiring the next generation of rugby leaders in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Thank you also to @dfat and @dhlexpress for supporting Pass It Back in the Philippines!

🏉 This weekend, the world’s best rugby sevens teams arrive in New York for the HSBC @svnsseries .

⚡It’s the perfect moment for us to welcome a new ChildFund Rugby Ambassador from the United States.

🇺🇸 Olympic bronze medallist Alena Olsen has joined ChildFund Rugby as an Ambassador, bringing her passion for rugby and belief in the power of the game to create positive change.

Alena has recently spent time in the Philippines supporting @philippinerugby with Pass It Back Coach Training and seeing first-hand how rugby and life skills learning are helping young people build and practice leadership, reduce violence, and prevent crime.

We are proud to welcome Alena to the ChildFund Rugby family and look forward to working with her to grow rugby’s impact globally!

Pregame rituals? Embarrassing. Hilarious. Crunchy.

Honored that @proctergamble and @olympics are supporting me through their Athletes for Good grant so I can help EcoAthletes further its #ClimateComeback initiative. Check out the link in bio to learn more about Athletes for Good and EcoAthletes. Together, let’s build a better, greener future!
