✨BAPTIZED
05.25.25 (7) A day I’ll never forget.

Back in October 2023, I had no answers. No direction. I had just quit my full-time job to pursue dance full time, but then I tore my meniscus. I was leaving an apartment where I experienced harassment. I had no peace, no control, nothing steady to hold onto.

In my kitchen, with nothing left but desperation, I prayed, genuinely surrendering everything to God. He answered me the very next morning. But with that light came a long season of darkness.

For eight months, I faced sleep paralysis and intense spiritual battles. I woke up every night at 3 a.m. I was tormented by fear, disturbing dreams, and voices mocking my prayers. Even though I was surrounded by friends and family, I felt isolated, powerless, and confused.

What strengthened me was Ephesians 6 • The Armor of God! 🙏

On Easter 2024, I truly surrendered my life to Jesus.

Today, I hadn’t planned to be baptized. But the Holy Spirit moved in me. It became a moment of deep gratitude.

We often search for peace and validation in people, but when we pause and reflect on the overwhelming grace, love, patience, and mercy God offers us, the weight of the world begins to shrink.

🌊 I’ve been living in a steady wave of peace since. I pray that my testimony is how God continues to use me, to be a vessel for His kingdom.

I never imagined this day would come, but I’m so grateful it did. Thank you @social_dallas 🤍#socialdallas #baptism taken in Dallas, Texas by @misca49

Bittersweet Life Update 👉👈

This will be my final season as a D-Town Crew member. From choreographing, traveling internationally, performing with artists, serving the community, and help lead our team, I never thought that small town girl would ever see the day.

If you don’t know me and my story, I hope this helps you understand and inspires you to DREAM BIG.✨Being born and raised in a small town. No big name dance studios. Just YouTube and me. I didn’t start to truly “train” until high school drill team. From there it prepared me for a short lived college dance career. Once I moved to Dallas, it was about chasing the love for dance. I trained every day I could. I put mirrors up in my apartments to create my studio space. When Mavs opened up, I was SOLD. NBA + Hip Hop = happiness. 🏀

I’ve learned to embrace my story, my journey and my obstacles because that’s why it’s gotten me where I am today and has built me into the person I am. No matter the good or bad moments, I’ve learned that God puts you through it all because he needs you to build the skills necessary for the NEXT BIG THING.

NEXT BIG THING….. 👀🤓

Forever grateful for my team that has continued to pour love and happiness into my journey. It’s the people in your life that truly make the experiences all worth it. Lifelong friendships. 💙 regardless of the Finals outcome, we already WON. 🏆

@mavsoffcourt hispanic heritage month location 01. @santaclaradallas church.

this is what you picture when you think of a catholic church in mexico.

the courtyard. the colors. the architecture. even the archway intentionally placed to invite the morning sun in. everything about this place felt almost otherworldly.

so we let the sun be the sun.

scheduled our heroes early. diffused where we could. and then let that hard morning light play against the endless color and movement of the dancers.

sometimes lighting a scene is less about adding light and more about recognizing the good light that’s already there.

what a way to start.

BTS 🎥✨

Dance has always been the place where I grow the most. There’s a familiarity in it, but there’s always something unknown waiting on the other side.

And I think that’s what keeps me coming back, chasing the unknown, learning something new, and discovering another reason to love dance. 🤍

this one was special.

the creative minds at @mavsoffcourt brought me in to gaff their recent hispanic heritage month highlight. six locations, multiple dance styles, a lot of moving pieces.

what stuck with me was the trust. everyone showed up for the project and for each other. community for community.

gaffing isn’t a role i advertise but it’s one i lowkey love, so being trusted with it like this meant a lot. and i learned a ton: shaping big sources, harnessing the sun, and how tiny tweaks can transform into huge shifts in the frame.

but my favorite discovery? gaffing and behind the scenes reportage photography are a natural pair. once action’s called and the light is set, i get to document those little in-between moments i love so much, highlighting the talent, the crew, the unseen.

over the rest of this month, i’m going to share each setup, what we tried, and what i learned.

for now, here’s a peek behind the scenes.

grateful is an understatement. 🙏🏽

#1. santa clara catholic church. @santaclaradallas

I didn’t know this place existed, but that courtyard felt like another world.

that early sun through the arches was pure gift. lesson? sometimes you just let the light lead.

#2. royce west roof top with @modelousa.

that backlight sun was, brutal.

dallas, august, 5 lights. hot.

the sun always wins, so we leaned into it, shaped it, didn’t fight it.

#3. fort worth water gardens.

monumental space, impossible scale. then God winked and tossed us a bone, cue clouds.

we dropped a focused beam into the bowl and the scene snapped into place. always pray your co-gaffer shows up.

thank you Jesus, literally. and @shinecinefw

#4 @latinoculturalcenter

bold colors, bold lines. five minute scramble for a last shot with dancers 20 feet up in the pitch dark. trust your team and move fast. and when @drew says “cou by @misca49

From the music, to the venues, to the dancers, to the message, every piece of this vision was intentional. 🇲🇽✨

So much thought, passion, creativity, and raw talent went into bringing this story to life. Every location, every movement, every sound, every face had a purpose and seeing it all come together was something truly special.

I’m incredibly proud of what we created and, even more, proud of the people who poured themselves into it. This was about more than a commercial. It was about celebrating our culture, our stories, and the people who make them worth telling.

Enjoy the BTS — a little look at the people, energy, and magic behind the final piece.

Chapter 6 : Dallas Mavs Edition 🏀📸

The season that the flowers bloom from the seeds she’s been planting. The year that the Lord pours into her to help pour into others. The chapter where ideas are executed.

Never thought my career would be in sports. Let alone NBA.
