A bit of a vulnerable Post. But it’s been a rough few weeks.

I’m also really disappointed in my bank. NAB what the hell! Clearly, I’m still trading so something weird is going on. How about next time you reach out instead of shutting all my accounts down.

Lastly, ASIC you guys need to pull your heads in. This was clearly an admin cock up on your end you need to update your archaic systems. It’s not the 80s anymore.

That being said, I know a good web designer if you need one. 😆

Artemis helping me sort though the shit show that is ASIC 😭

It’s been a traumatic few weeks to say the least. I will be doing a post once every thing is back to normal to help explain whats going on. For now I’m just going through the motions.

For those of you more interested in Artemis, he’s a Black headed python. He’s 8 months old and joins my daughters legion of snakes 😂 I was snake sitting while his new tank was getting pimped out. He’s more active than Percy and less bitey than Linguine. ❤️

What is Pollie Pedal? 🚴🇦🇺

On paper, it’s a cycling event founded by former Prime Minister Tony Abbot and now led by Angus Taylor MP, bringing people together to ride through regional Australia and raise funds for their charity of choice.

But after experiencing it, Pollie Pedal is so much more than kilometres on a bike.

It’s community. Connection. Shared purpose. Early mornings, long days, country towns, memorial stops, sore legs, plenty of laughs and a group of people who very quickly start to feel like family.

This year, I had the privilege of becoming the digital storyteller behind the event for Wandering Warriors, capturing the moments, people and stories along the way and sharing them online. All with its help from Nicci and Nicola.

I’ve volunteered with Wandering Warriors for 13+ years, but being on the road with the incredible Wandering Warriors crew, the Pollie Pedal volunteers, riders and supporters gave me a whole new appreciation for the community behind this event.

There are some jobs you finish and move on from.

And then there are experiences that stick with you.

Pollie Pedal was definitely one of those. 💙

If web builders were people… 👀

WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify all have their own personality, strengths and red flags.

Some are easy. Some are powerful. Some will happily take your money one app at a time. 😂

The trick isn’t finding the “best” website builder. It’s choosing the right one for what your business actually needs.

So I’ve had a robot vacuum for a few years now. Her name is RaeBot and she a menace to me mainly.
