I want to capture this day for myself — maybe it will be useful for someone else too.📝When it comes to our children, we always try to be an example for them. Sometimes we tell them who we used to be . But there comes a moment when phrases like “I used to do backflips” or “I dedicate 15 years of my life to sports” no longer work. And that’s completely normal. The child doesn’t say it — they love you the same no matter what. But YOU have to find the strength to actually be an example every single day.Teenagers don’t listen to words — they read actions.Yes, it’s hard. Yes, you want to sleep more. Yes, sometimes you just want a beer… or even a whiskey.So here’s what I’ve decided to do:Daily alcohol 🚫Going to bed late 🚫Spending late nights with friends 🚫Wasting my life on others while my child is growing up right next to me 🚫And here’s what I’m going to do:Two workouts a day ✅Morning — strength training ✅Evening — swimming and sauna with my son (he’ll be my coach) ✅Daily walks with the family ✅Traveling every weekend — camping trips ✅Quality sleep and proper rest ✅Goal — 100 days. After that, I’ll review the results and set new goals together with my son.P.S. I’m fine. I haven’t gotten old, and my child is doing great. This is for those who haven’t seen me in a while.Those who see us every day know — I could have kept everything as it is. But I don’t want to be 50 and regret not taking care of myself, not spending time with my son, and instead wasting it on meaningless things with meaningless people.22.06.26Wish me strength and faith💜 by @mishabalashow

Sometimes we forget to live….We are always rushing somewhere — work, responsibilities, other people’s expectations. Day after day, we postpone life “for later,” as if we have extra time saved somewhere.But as John Lennon once said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”We get lost in the rush, in endless to-do lists, in the constant pursuit of results… and we stop noticing the moment itself. The present.Yet life is not somewhere ahead. It is here. In every breath, every conversation, in the small, fleeting details we so often overlook.Marcus Aurelius once said, “Do not act as if you were going to live ten thousand years.”And there is a truth in that which is hard to accept, but impossible to ignore.To live means to feel now. To notice. To pause. To be.Because one day, we may look back and realize we spent too long waiting for the right moment… instead of simply living. by @mishabalashow
