One thing I’ve learned is that strangers will often support your dream before your own friends do. The people who know you tend to remember who you were, while strangers judge you for who you’re becoming. It’s just part of the process. Your people are meant to find your work and they eventually will.

One thing I’ve learned is that the people who try to pull you down don’t deserve your attention. Every minute spent proving them wrong is a minute taken away from proving yourself right. I’d rather keep building than keep looking back.

I’ve realized that not everyone close to you wants to see you grow at the same pace. Whether it’s doubt, insecurity, or something else, I’ve learned to let my results do the talking instead of trying to change people’s minds.
