Still so surreal to say that I’m part of the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans list for 2025! 😭🤩

To be recognised in the Film and Media category by @mailandguardian is truly incredible.

I always say that pop culture runs through my veins. Since I was 16 years old all I ever wanted to do was celebrate talented people and share their stories. So here’s to more of doing that 16 years later 🌟✨ taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @mishgov

This was a massive growth year for me so today on #WomensDay it had me thinking about my then and now when it comes to my career. ✨

I always wanted to work in entertainment since I was 16! I had this idea to start my blog Mish Informed straight out of high school and really went with it. 🤩

That website at such a young age allowed me to meet so many icons locally and abroad, because all I wanted to do was share their stories of success and motivate others.

It landed me my first big girl role at MultiChoice starting at DStv working in the digital department. Then I got to sink my teeth into entertainment when I joined Showmax. What a time! We were making TV and shifting social media.

Then my dream job landed. Spotify. Travelling across Africa and beyond with an amazing team and again entertainment at its core

I’ve learned so much since working at the leaders of entertainment across both TV and music.

I’ve had incredible female leaders support me and see my potential and those women gave me a seat at the table. Thank you to @mrsbronni, @accordingtoleemn, @laurajcooke and @starkachisa who helped truly shape who I have become professionally. And my incredible friends who keep pushing me to be the best I can be. 🫶🏽
