This week's episode of Lost And Found Sounds begins with a bunch of tracks from mysterious and only vaguely identified artists released on new label that prides itself on being antilabel without fanfare, hype or profit, so you'll just have to tune in to learn more, suffice it to say there's plenty to whet your appetite. And that will be satisfied and stoked some more with tracks from a newly released CD teaming Jeff Surak with @autodetuned - 'Zoology', out on Staalplaat, a collaboration involving @stephenvitiello and Edwin Torres - 'Parallel Infinites' out through @Room 40, @akionda_official from the third in his Cassette Memories series - 'South Of The Border' also on Room 40, James Worse from the @tqzine compilation 'Covering The Covers', Lily Tait and Nick Ashwood with a track from a release on New North, Home Secretary from 'Past Lily's', and Fossil Aerosol Mining Project from '3.2016', and they've just released a work that involved remixing sounds originally created by Golgotha Communications Ltd. - done with the extraordinary Fossil Aerosol Mining Project touch - called 'Excluded Evidence (Rejoinder Assembly)', so we'll hear that as well as some of those original sounds as tracks on the Golgotha Communications Ltd. album 'Evidentiary hearing'.

This week is my turn to open The Other Window for your sonic enjoyment and that means you'll hear tracks from @scatteredorder's just-out newie - "Still Your Mind" a sensational 12" slab of exploratory vinyl that's exemplary of the outfit's ethos of never being content to sit on their laurels recreating the last big hit - prepare to be diverted to the vast unseen murky corners of your mind.

We'll hear from the also just-released gorgeous experimental pop four track debut from Piccolo Blu - "stealing your wifi", and there's more from @eartheater's stunning world-shaping self-revelatory lp "Heavenly Body: If I'm The Bottle You’re The Message".

We'll hear from @sunkencages from their album "Neram Pularumbol (As The Dawn Breaks)" and Yzymyr with "Ø" - both out through Mahroka, there's also Normans, @deathbyloveofficial, Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, Boards Of Canada, and K5 on @gardenseat , and from @swans_official we'll hear from "The Seer", and plenty more

On Lost And Found Sounds this week there's a smorgasbord of aural delights for you to indulge including new works from Thomas Bey William Bailey off 'Astonishing Baseball Feats / Two Impromptus' and Marcin Lasek off 'Jane/Lune', both released through Neus-318, the label operated by Kazuya Ishigami who we'll also hear from with his release 'OmoteToUra' on Onmyōdō Cassette, and sticking to the Japanese permeation we'll also hear from AYA/OYO with the release 'Poe' on Kirigirisu Recordings.

Other new releases we'll hear from include the latest LP from dprk - 'Gnomes of Zürich' - a glorious pastiche of bent Krautrock-infused meanders, and 'Mood Starters' by BedouinDrone and Brainquake just out through Mahorka.

Plus we'll hear from Garry Bradbury off 'Corpuscle Plus' released through DualPlover, Artesian Poetry off 'Stricken Dumb Continued' on Radioland Recordings, and Slow Man Tofu from the cassette 'Tape Transfers' released through Vacancy Records.

As lost sounds are found and put away thoughts turn to the next episode of The Other Window - Dumfries and Galloway recluse Tui under his guise as @orlawren_ has just released a pair of gorgeously evocative albums on Netherlands-based label @dronarivm - "Poiesis" and "The Intimate Overlap" both typical of his gentle reflective sound manipulating and song construction. We'll hear tracks from both albums and they set the flavour for much of the show, so expect to hear from the likes of Gasoline Gathers Hands, Gathers Friends, @unitedbiblestudies, @artar.veltemar (Manja Ristić), @anadasilva.theraincoats (Ana da Silva), Francis M. Gri, @alison__cotton, Isambard Khroustaliov, @brianamarela, @kynantan (Kynan Tan), Laniakea, @oejerum, Greg Davies and more, and if time permits I may even be tempted to air more from the extensive Orla Wren back catalogue of solo works and collaborations.

And also there's a fabulous soon-to-be-released album of guest remixes of @melinda_bronstein's 2021 album "In Reverse". The remix album is called "In / Verse" and it features some delightful reworkings including one from @blancsceol which we just might hear!

This week marks 6 years of Lost And Found Sounds on 2BOB radio, so I hope you can tune in for it. There's a string of tracks from albums released last month by musicians including Aussie expat Daniel Craig from his CD 'Diljin Rising' on Lontano Series, Their Divine Nerve from their second album - 'Ars Moriendi', and Tetsuya Nakayama from his cassette on Tsss Tapes - 'Edo Wan', and Leonie Roessler, Farbod Maeen, and Amirali Karimi Sahari all from an upcoming compilation on Noise à Noise - 'Noise à Noise 24.2: Resistance 2'.

The mysterious and purportedly Polish outfit Ubek recently released what is just their third cassette since their inception in 2017, through Discrepant offshoot Sucata Tapes so there's something from that, as well as the very definitely Polish project Emiter from the recently released cassette 'Symfoniaki' on Szara Reneta.

And we'll hear from Nadja - the duo Aiden Baker and Leah Buckareff - from a fabulous cassette put out by Momentarily Records last year, and we'll also hear from UK sound artist Stuart Bowditch recording under his Hybernation guise with his album 'Object Studies - Metal'.

Be sure to open The Other Window this Tuesday for a special set of tracks by People Skills recorded live in the 2BOB-FM studios recently when Pennsylvania-based musician Jesse Dewlow dropped in for a visit while he was in Australia for The Sunday Drivers Tour.  

Jesse performed a mix of original and cover songs, on occasions hinting at Ian Curtis infused vocal renditions in gorgeously soulful versions of tracks from some of his earlier albums.  

We'll also hear tracks from his two new albums - "Hum Of The Non-Engine" on Siltbreeze, and "I Will Not Die" on Altered States Tapes.  

Other musicians you'll hear on the show include Gasoline Gathers Hands, Gathers Friends, United Bible Studies, Orla Wren, A Cloakroom Assembly, Sinister Bodies of Water and more and not to be out done in numbers I'll be playing songs in pairs from each.
