9 Diriyah is the historic birthplace of Saudi Arabia, founded in
1446 AD as a settlement along Wadi Hanifah, becoming the capital of the First Saudi State in the 18th century under Muhammad bin Saud and Muhammad in Abd al-Wahhab, and a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional mudbrick Najdi architecture in the At-Turaif district. Days, days💛

1/ Abdulrahman Alsoliman, @solimanart one of Saudi Arabia’s most respected modern artists, was a genuine highlight of this year’s Noor Riyadh Festival @noorriyadhfestival . His piece, Place of History’s Inscription, brings together expressive mark-making, layered symbolism and a deep connection to memory and land. Presenting this work at Al Masmak Fort.
