POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I'm really excited to share my new painting "Cycles". It was partially inspired by a poem which I'll share below. Another theme was coming into wisdom and into myself, especially in my mid 20s as my frontal lobe developed. I was also thinking about the cyclical nature of life and its different stages (largely symbolized by the 3 owls). In her facial expression I wanted to show reflection, but also the a deep tenacity that conveys her willingness to progress past the grievances of her newfound revelations. Lastly I wanted to depict something representative of divine feminine energy.

Please don't scroll without liking or commenting 🤗 I get really energized by feedback I hear. I've struggled with feeling motivated and fulfilled doing art this year.

POEM EXCERPT:
"At Her pinnacle of magnetic power, She pulls on the tides of Earth’s oceans, of our bodies. She energizes magic, ritual, and dynamic collaboration. The Full Moon is a portal, bringing insight, exposing deeply hidden truths, psychic visions—enLightenment! At Moon's apex of bright fulfillment, She opens us also toward the deep inner work of spirit transformation where mystery, surprise, illusion are at home. Anchor yourself in Her clarity..."
