Do I want to drink? Hell yea
Do I want to go out? Of course
Do I want my beers after work? Most def

But….
Do I want to lose my freedom? No
Do I want to not remember what I did or said? Nope
Do I want to get lost in the cycle of alcoholism? Naa

I’m an alcoholic, not ashamed to admit it. It took me down a dark road, where I thought it was my only friend and the only way through. But I made it to the other side.

I now see things more clear. I love myself much deeper. I process my feelings. I don’t run. I don’t hide.

Again, do I want a beer? Hell yea.
But I like this version of Morgan a lot better.

Thank you so much everyone for all the love and support! Like WOW. I’m still in disbelief! 🤯😃 like winning a Ruthie! Who would have ever thought. .

My backstory is something so unreal. I don’t really like to share all of what I’ve been through. It’s pretty intense. If you know, you know. Maybe one day I’ll come out or write a book. This art life is all I’ve got. My only look at a real future. And to see it actually playing out and better than I can imagine! Man it’s only the beginning too! 🌦

My nervous system is completely out of wack.
Dreams so vivid and weird.
Not able to tell between reality and survival.

When life gets comfortable, I am actually very uncomfortable.
Like “This is good, what’s going to happen next?”
Like “Let me test the waters a little bit and see what happens”

Routines bore me. It makes me feel stuck, like I’m in a loop and wasting life away. Becoming programmed.

So I thrive in chaos. I find joy in talking to strangers. Working in crazy kitchens. I love to know the cool things about people. I’m all for the underdogs.

I love unplanned adventures, and sitting alone in public out to eat. You just never know who you’re going to meet, the conversations you’ll have, the experience you learn. I love to smile and give hope to others, while receiving hope as well.

In my past life I was probably a therapist.
Probably a Gypsy or Nomad.
Just a free spirit.

But it’s true, when you give up your vice, your mind plays hella tricks, processing everything you buried and locked in a box.

I got the key. And about to uncover what’s inside.
I’m feeling better,
